Dharah's Costume:
The figure appears to be a slender and fit woman of small stature. She moves with a flowing, liquid grace, and this, along with the skin showing beneath her costume, reveals her to be a Nolthrir. It is impossible to tell her age.
The Nolthrir wears a white oval mask of papier-mache that covers her entire face. Aside from the eye-holes, the only other facial features are a pair of red lips, painted in a pretty pout. The rest of the mask is decorated with black ink, depicting undulating staves of music, complete with notes, across forehead, cheeks and chin. A close observer and student of music might mark that they are the notes to the song "Music Alone Shall Live." Attached around the top and sides of the mask are two layers of ribbons in rainbow colors that cascade down her green hair and around her masked face.
The Nolthrir is garbed in a low-cut bodice composed of strips of multi-colored silks sewn together, and embroidered in thread-of-gold with more music notes, treble and bass clefs, and other musical notations. The sleeves are equally striped to the elbows, and there they split apart into a rainbow of many ribbons, leaving the forearms bare. Her bodice is close-fitting to the hips, then flares out into a multi-layered skirt of the same gauzy strips of rainbow fabrics. The pieces of her skirt flutter and float with each movement or passing breeze, and one can sometimes catch a glimpse of close-wrapped trews in darker rainbow colors covering the legs beneath. Each ankle bears a ribbon sewn with little bells that jingle as she moves. Her feet are bare.
