[OSP]Antiques Fair - Discussion Thread
« on: November 11, 2009, 11:44:24 am »
There has been renewed talk of a full wipe and for once it seems a majority of the community is in favor of it.  Will it happen?  That hasn't been decided yet.  But perhaps this is a good time to gather and discuss those old and rare items.  You never know, it may be our last chance to do so.

Explorers next fair in our monthly series will be an Antiques Fair, to be held Saturday, November 28, 2009.  The official announcement is here.

So dig into those inventories, check every sack, and prepare to show off those super rare weapons, odd items, and unique glyphs.  I'm sure there are some good stories of adventures behind many of these items.  It also might be a good opportunity to discover what that odd quest item is good for, if anything.

Comments and suggestions are welcome here.  Any ideas on activities?  Perhaps there is some interest in an auction?

sweet!

Lot's of RP available with this idea! And pretty cool OOCly as well!

I look forward to some interesting yarns!

Seems like this would be a enticing for thievery as well... might need some significant guard action. (an underlying interesting plot would be cool... if anyone has some interesting ideas arise, let one of us know and we can't chat behind the scenes. I'll be pondering in the meantime...)

The fair could have little areas for each person's items, and perhaps those with an item of rich history can tell the tale before everyone.
Good idea, and good work .

* LigH takes his chest (found in a wing on the Iron Tower) and puts in: Generic Food ... :D

(You might know the little family game "packing the suitcase"...)

There are already interesting and quite unique things...

- Chest
- Generic Food
- Razor Mail Helm
- Sword of Justice
- Sword of Truth
- Several valuable (Golden / Platinum) weapons, e.g. Jinil's Platinum Longsword of Law
- Martagos and Nabali
- Sickle
- Magic Wand of Red Way
- Golden Galkard

Fortunately Dadaren did not lose "Jinil's Platinum Longsword of Law" during a server crash, just before he wanted to pick it up again...

It's been a very interesting event. Seen a lot of exotic weaponry. PS has a great variety of weaponry.

Today, my client has broken (missing most of the GUI), but thankfully I Could participate in the event.
It has caused me more than one headache though...
