I still think using the term \"n00b\" is immature. It is part of \"1337 speak\" so when you call them a \"n00b\" you aren\'t doing much better yourself.

I like the idea of a permadeath system or losing ALL your stats if you die and maybe keeping your items. This can work in a true role playing game but not in a game like Planeshift. This stops power levelers and people like in this thread that cry because they lose valuable training time...

Hey Izzy, it\'s me. Not Link. A doctor game eh? Sounds rather boring unless you are able to play with brains. Also seems like it would be one of those NC-17 games or wahtever that only people that are 60 year old or older can play due to censorship. Doctors do see ALL you know.

The term \"n00b\" IS \"1337 speak\" it is nothign more. It was started by them to insult people below them to make them feel better. \"Newbie\" isn\'t that great either, it makes them feel inferior. Perhaps you should not judge people because they have been here for less time then you. There is always someone who has been here longer then your and they can treat you the same way.

Most of the time when \"n00b\" is used, it\'s because it makes the sayer feel higher then the other person. Annoying people are to be delt with in other ways, not by insulting them with a word from the vocabulary of moron.

You need a better everything on the computer. You will most likely not be able to run planeshift at all.

First person is no more realistic then third person in the least bit. First person would be about like if you have a neckbrace on. You can glance down at and look around quickly in real life. You can not even get close to imatating this, even with mouse look.
