Erm... what tool? What exactly are you having problems with? Can\'t you install the game?

I guess it is the config file editor
(just a guess)

if so have you run the game once first ?
I am no expert but maybe the game generates the default config on first run only (can\'t check since i am on linux right now with work to do...so can\'t reboot).
How should I know how it works?That\'s what developers are for.  I only tried it.

At the main page of PlaneShift http://www.planeshift.it/main at the client downloads section at the bottom theres a tool that tells you if you downloaded the right files.
And yes it installes the game .

If you\'ve installed the game, and the game works, you won\'t need that tool...
