As far as i understand the duels you select otherguy as target, ask for duel, start fighting.
How about a way to make a duel from distant and/or over a longer time period. For example I want to fight with otherguy. I am in hydlaa, he is somewhere in the wilderness. I do /ask_duel otherguy and if he accepts, whenever we meet we can fight with eachover. This is open as long as we dont had one fight already. So he finds me in the wilderness, maybe speaks with me but we dont fight, the duel is still open. A fight is when one draws a weapon and attacks the other, and is over if one is dead, there is a certain distance between both or both say they want it ended.
As an addition you might specify for how many fights the duel stays open. So you can say you want x open duels with one guy.
