Total overhaul to basic skin - FlameON and Skulls

Hey guys.

Some of you might not know that a lot of the small UI changes in V0.6 were made by me. The shortcutbar and activemagic were Eeredin. But things like the progress bars and chat window changes were me.

Because of this i got hooked on modding the UI. I've bee working on a custom skin for the last week or so and I wanted to know if there was any interest from players in using it.

I have made this new skin completely to my personal tastes so I don't expect everyone to like it. I'm asking here mainly because if there is enough interest I'll spend more time working on it than I would if I was just going to give it to a few people I know well.

But if enough want to try/use it I will finish it off and make it available.

First impression: That design looks nice and clean.
First thought: Where can i get this thing?
First conclusion: This needs a better title than "new skin"

Keep doing what is fun for you to experiment with, Venalan. You know that this skin will make a useful addition to the game, and it is your decision how much time and effort you put into this before you share a zip.

It's great to see this.  PS needs more skins.  I've always found elves difficult to use, and far preferred the Default skin from years ago.  More options would be great!

Thanks, I think I will post it here once done. Two more screen shots to enjoy and a new topic name.

Plus, I've also found a number of 'problems' in the default skin I will be improving as well once I'm done customising my one.

I bet by playing with hue/brightness/contrast you could make a cool looking skin for each Way.

For the in window art, sure. But the way I've done font changes would take a little while. I've not been able to find a 'global font change' option in any xml so its all manual.

The first edit of this skin is actually done now and ill be giving it to a few friends to test. Then posting here once I've finished it all off.

The skin for Brown Way may then be called TheThing. There should be matching Eye Candy available.

Ok, I got a bit distracted today for two reasons. One, tman's suggestion for different ways. Two, Chatting with Rigwyn who has a tendency for some of the darker RPs. And putting the two together I decided to make another set of art for Dark Way.

I will work on completing this once I actually finish playing with the FlameON skin.
