Title: The Man Is A Fool
Post by: Adyna on April 15, 2005, 06:55:20 am
Twas on the road to Ojaveda I met a maid so fair
With the body of a Goddess and long black silky hair
Pray sit with me, I said I hoped that one day we will marry
Oh no dear Sir I will not sit, I really cannot tarry

Pray tell me maid, why time is short, I\'m surely not mistaken
I cannot let you go my dear, why am I so forsaken
My master is a cruel old man, she said with tears a brewing
He watches me and time is short, there\'s lots I must be doing

Who is this man that treats you so, his end is now my quest
His name is Loathsome Fain and he really is obsessed
The maiden then explained to me, he\'s watching us right now
And spending all my time with you he never would allow

Twas not as clear as you see here, the maiden she did lie
I killed the man and she was mine and time went by and by
I now sit here and watch the road, she tells this tale of woe
To any man that comes along her love she will bestow

My end is near, I know that now, so let this be a warning
To any man who can\'t think clear and passes on this morning
Do not believe all that she says or you will end like me
Crying like an old man..... for what will never be.

Loathsome Fain - Anagram of \'The man is a fool\'
