General Discussion / Re: You Might Be An Oldbie If...

If you mined gold at the Magic shop  ;D

You mean that was really true?  ::|  ::|

Yessir. The money flowed freely then.

I pop in one day and I see so many names that I looked up to in RP. I guess I count as an oldbie, but I don't know if anyone remembers me.

I think it was a nice improvement. Other than the Silaces problems I have no major gripes. I appreciated all the different items spread around the NPCs, and I liked Telzanna better than Xorgan. I only encountered two small things. One was an information message that caused the chat bubble to scroll, which I thought was odd. It was the one from Xenak about roleplay, which I think is the longest one. I don't think it's much of an issue, I just didn't know the chat bubbles had scroll bars. The other one was Ibhaar. He didn't seem to know anything about rivnaks, and I wish he did because I don't know anything about them either.

Harnquist should run for Octarch.  He's the most important person in the Dome...
 ;D
I think he prefers to be the puppetmaster behind the scenes. Maybe he isn't simply a blacksmith, but something entirely more sinister...      :D

I'm curious, has anyone checked both greater difficulty and less difficulty?

Official Planeshift Promotional Poster Design Contest.

Description: Planeshift is a Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying game based on an open source engine. The art and writing content is managed by a charitable foundation whose goal is to produce an ad-free, fee-free, educational online roleplaying game for players all over the world.

Please explain how PlaneShift is educational?

I've learned a good number of things in PS that were on a test that I had to take :)

my very favorite thread is the Cult thread. The deV-day, Cadoras, and Drunkards threads are pretty likable though

Yes, many are working on another project. Silavur I know has some loose ends still, so I'm hoping he'll come back if only to finish those.  just because we have few active members right now doesn't mean we have to die though. Want to throw an event? I wasn't with the guild long but from what I can tell is that it was known for it's events

My favorite is singing at the gold mines. That was fun and I almost always got some response on my singing. I still do it when I mine, but that hasn't been as often recently

I'm sure their enkidukai parent would teach them. the parent dying or leaving shouldn't be too normal either

Forum ID: Dihenis

IG characters: Dihenis, Cruran, Taodan, Gesiney.....Vidoferus, Aeridus, Vifolio

Time Zone: CST

Hours in game: 10-25 hours(?) a week

Frequent Hang Outs: Any of the taverns

Religious Orientation: (N/A, Other, I won't tell you, are all fine answers)

Guild/Guilds: Fallen kingdom, the Academy, Survivors of Vaern ( a few others maybe)

One Paragraph Description: Dihenis is a ylian with quite dirty clothes. He wears a hammer and pick on his belt, so that might explain some of the dirt. He also has a sabre with something engraved (if you look closely it says 'Dih'), but the weapon doesn't look very well-made

Complaint Department / Re: Advising chat window is inefficient
« on: June 22, 2008, 12:02:46 am »
It's possible to claim more than one person at a time (I've done it before) so you would have to type in the name so the game knows who you are talking to at that time. the advising system is more complicated because of the claiming, so I don't think you could just go based on the person who sent the last message without some new coding
