After hearing many complaints by smiths about price of ore and price other smith sell at etc, I have thought about the idea of a Smithing Association. Which could be used to argue for the rights of smiths. It would be able to set the standards for pricing of what smiths pay and what they charge for goods, ensuring all smiths get a fair price for their work. Is there interest in forming this association?
P.S. This would not have any enforceable rules and no expectation would be given for GM's to intervene if people do not follow the guild standards. I think it would be good to have several of these associations, including a miners association, which would allow RP between the two big negotiating over price, or miners could strike and leave smiths without raw material etc.
