Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game / Severe Lag
« on: June 22, 2008, 06:44:22 am »
Suddenly when I go to log in it says 1000 next to where it says fragnetics, it usually says something around 350, I'm using the same connection I always did.... So I'm utterly confused.

When I get in-game it lags so badly its hard to play. If not impossible.

Roleplaying (Communitive Storywriting) / Falling...

A Dermorian with red hair walks into the tavern and simply listens for a moment. He laughs a bit to himself listening to all the fools arguing about which deity was superior. He could never understand how so many managed to become so misguided. He knew that Xiosia was the only deity worthy of worship. He cleared his throat and posed a question.
"Um I don't suppose anyone's seen a Dermorian child come through here?" He sighs lightly and waits for someone to respond. After a few more minutes of argument a dwarf by the bar turns to him.
"Several Dermorian children actually.
His heart began pounding as he posed his next question, "Did one of them have red hair and a bit of an odd marking on his face?"
After a few more minutes of listening the same dwarf gave him a response, "I know 'im. He's a good kid."
He could barely stop himself from grinning this was too easy, instead he let his eyes widen "Do you know where he went?"
He waited for the dwarf to respond and didn't really notice the increasing fury in the religious argument. Finally a chance to be reunited with his son. After some time the dwarf turned back to him "No. Anyway what do you want with him?"
"I'm his father. I haven't seen him in a long time."
The dwarf was skeptical, he could understand that, "Really now?"
He nods "Yes. If I find him he'll recognize me."
The dwarf apparantly wasn't satisfied "And how do you know that?"
He decided to give a simple answer "He knows my face."
The dwarf seemed satisfied finally, "He's a good kid, ye know. Strong will. Stubborn."
He could hardly keep himself from laughing he knew that quite well, this was his son they were talking about.
He just watched the religious debate heat up further until he noticed movement out of the corner of his eye, he turns and cleared his throat "Nalelack come in here."
Secohiv had finally found his son again.
Nalelack stepped through the doors "Y-yes?"
Secohiv examined Nalelack's face and cursed mentally something had gone wrong the Web was gone! There should have been a mark on his son's face but instead it looked like nothing was there! Secohiv frowns ,"What happened to you? Well I can correct that." he holds up his hand and tendrils of magic flickered between his hand and his son. Hopefully it wouldn't take long to repair so much work. The dwarf looked upset for some reason, "Th' hell are ye doin?!"
Secohiv had to grin at this point, "Simply fixing a broken tool."He watched his son collapse but he knew it was simply a bit of pain he'd have to go through before the spell was fixed.
