Title: Reach of weapons (PvP)

Greetings. After engageing in various duels and experimenting with diffrence weapons i've come to a conclusion.
* All weapons hit from the same distance!

PS being dedicated to realism i wonder why this is so?
logically reach should be implemented where for example claymores has the longest reach while daggers have the shortest.
(How could a dagger hit from the same distance as a claymore?)

Is there a chance this will be implimented anytime soon? this would surely make PvP more realistic.

This was just revised. I am not sure if the changes are current or will be in the next release.

Bit of a thread necro sorry :P

I was just browsing through a few of the boards I don't normally visit, and saw this... don't know if the items are modified to use this yet on laanx, but the feature has been implemented for a long time (http://planeshift.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/planeshift?view=rev&revision=815); I remember testing it years ago.
