Citizens! Now is your chance to become a blood donor!
My apologies to all you eager warriors, its been a while since the original post and a few difficulties have stopped me updating this note sooner:
Number of guilds applying and attendance problems mean that the original format.. a league, is unfeasable. Further, Grouping the combatants by guild means that battles are deadly rather than to the point of yielding, this would make "heats" a time consuming affair. (Let me add here that I do wish this to be an ongoing, monthly event)
Two solutions to these problems spring to mind:
First, we could let the monthly tournment become a bloodbath.. The Champions Cup is placed in the center of a pvp area, and at a given signal everyone slugs it out, the last man standing keeps the cup until the next month.
This is a rather savage option, so, secondly:
Each month teams of four from each guild compete in a one against one fight the victors earning the right to challenge the current holders for the cup (this final heat could be one on one, or grouped, and to the death, as players wish).
I would be grateful for some feedback on the above ideas, in any case, time to set a date, lets say the first Saturday of each month at 12 GMT starting May. On that day the first victors will emerge.
As previously stated, No entry fee.. just the desire to d honour to you guild by competing. With the Cup will be a book, wherein the winning guild may inscribe its name, and the date of their victory.
