The idea of a hand-held bomb, made to be thrown is a good idea but I don't agree on the victim type.
Why do you hate noobz anyway Kevin ?
[If hand grenades will be implemented I sugest to take one, remove the pin and subsequently release the handle then quickly shove it down your a..rmour and feel the heavenly pleasure after about four seconds]

While I enjoy a good joke, and such, I would be remiss without asking for some minor adherance to settings. it is one thing for someone to TALK about their Laz0rsw0rds and hand grenades, quite another to alter the game so much it no longer bears any resemblence to Planeshift and as such stopped acting as a testing ground, and instead became a personal playground.
I am not a dev, and ultimately whatever happens is their decision. besides, what good would a hand grenade to with the current PVP? you see one dropped at your feet and a window pops up, (you have been challenged to a duel by Frankie Damenki, do you accept?) and we all wait to see if he accepts, walks away and accepts, or just declines... wasting the grenade.

How about Cemtex or X10 or plastique? placing a Counterstrike type charge at Vannakas favourite haunt on a timer? - arena - Not safe for Noobs hehehehe.

Why dose it have to explode. The greeks would take clay pots and put snakes in them and throw them onto ships. You can imagine how scared they were ha ha.

The thing with snake pots is a fake. Snakes are cowardly and don't attack if you're colser than one meter.

interesting though the idea of a modern type hand grenade would be death to serious rp. however i am all for the idea of potions with negative effects you can throw at people.
you can have a red way potion that lights people on fire. azure way potion that creats a blast of air to knock someone down, could rapidly grow poision vines around them and sap their health, crystal way .... i guess you throw it at an ally and it heals them. dark way could drain the targets mana. and blue way could freeze them in place.
but it is an interesting idea to explore grenade like weaponry. though the did have black powder in the oriant and were expirimenting with it in medival times it wasent widley used
