Why not have a breeding system?  Not just horses, but a variety of creatures.  Horses get a bit dull.  How about the ability to ride a skeleton bear (for example) (I know you are asking how can you breed those...bah..magic!)..more variety you know.  A pet to fit each personality :D

i think if you have horses you should be able to have wagons.  it\'s make it nice for those who wanted to travel in groups with friends family or guilds.
