Complaint Department / misinformed GM's
« on: July 06, 2007, 08:47:24 am »
Tonight, a guildmate, which shall remain unnamed, was fighting in the arena.  While there were players "camping" on some NPC's she decided to kill them.  Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but there is nothing against the rules about this.  There have been discussions about this in the past on here, and it has been agreed, by the majority, that there is no such thing in game as kill stealing, though tonight my guild mate was accused of kill stealing. How can this be, since it mechanically not possible to steal a kill ingame???

Not only was my guild mate threatened with banning, but also sent to the DR, "has been struck down, let this be a lesson to all" kind of crap.  I think that GM's need to be put into their place with the use of that, since last time i saw that, there was a dispute between our guild and another, and while we were duelling at the entrance to the arena, a GM decided to do that same crap, "...has been struck down, let this be a lesson to all."

In my experience in game, GMS are pretty useless with any type of major problem or question, perhaps GMs need to know more about the mechanics of the game and skills and so forth, because since when, is it a bannable offense, to kill an NPC, if a newb is camping it??? And since when, should a GM be allowed to interupt RP by striking down a character included in that RP???

I thought GMs were supposed to promote RP by hosting events, though i have never seen a GM event in my timezone, I have seen GMs interupting our own RP, and this should not be, so I hereby move, that, GMs be educated on what is and IS NOT allowed by a GM in terms of interupting RP, and also, I think, they need to be educated on what is possible within the mechanics of the game, hence kill stealing is NOT possible.

General Discussion / Rats tattered dagger of Seduction?
« on: June 07, 2007, 12:27:32 am »
Hi all,
I looted a Rat's tattered dagger of Seduction the other day, and have been unable to wield it due to charisma not being high enough.  I have passed this dagger through 3 other people, all of which have maximum charisma of 120, of which it stands in game at current, or so im aware.  I wonder if anyone else has had any experience with this weapon, and know of any way to weild it at the moment in game, or whether it is a new weapon, that has been released in anticipation of higher charisma lvls.

Of course there is always the possibility that there are now npcs that train charisma higher, that i do not know of, but anyway, if anyone can shed some light on this weapon and the required stats, or how to weild it, would be fantastic, in a non spoiler way of course.
