Yeah, I have been trying to find a better program, but I daresay I will have to end up paying if I want a half decent one.

So I will probably get round to finishing it once I find a suitable program :S (soon, hopefully)

But thanks for your feedback firiban.

Hahah, I've just listened to ambiguos aim, it is pretty awesome. What instruments did you use? trombone, clarinet and flute? My only complaint about it was that you had what I thought sounded like your trombone mouthpiece alone as an instrument, it makes a terribly horrendous sound :P All the same, if that is what I thought I heard I am remarkably impressed by the control of your embouchure.

And now I've just listened to to the other two, they are, rather awesome as well :D. I really like the arrangement and the way it kinda just comes together so nicely.

Also, can you do circular breathing? cos I don't think I heard a breath on the trombone all throughout silent samba.

The recordings quality is really quite clear, what did you use to record it?

Oh, and I thought that the trombone sounded a little bit tinny, maybe you could try using bass boost to make it sound fuller?

But otherwise they were really a good listen..I particularly liked welcome warmup, it sounded really...seagoing

Hey guys, I've just recently gotten interested in composing background/game music. Therefore I've composed a short unfinished piece called awakening, to try and see how I would fare with that type of music. You can download it here:

http://www.4shared.com/file/113523054/7c7ef331/Awakening.html

It's my first attempt at this style of music, and I would be glad to hear any feedback you guys might have. In the past I have only done recordings for rock style music, and made a random dance track for the hell of it, so be nice, I should get better :)

The other thing is I'm still trying to find suitable software to meet what I want to hear from my pieces, the current program I am using sounds a little clunky (which can be heard in the quavers of the melody) and has really mechanical sounding time (perhaps it doesn't deal with 3/4 well...)

So in other words, the GM teleportation command, when used as a prison spell isn't actually an in-game happening, but a representation of a persons character being taken to jail?

I thought it allowed you to do that so your character to take his helm of and tuck it under his arm?

"I'm no sir, er, Maffy" Beniel says, inclining his head towards the mismatched pair in greeting. "This building is the only Smithy in town, and the chap over there, Harnquist, owns and runs the place if I'm not mistaken. So you guys are new in town?"

*Beniel witnesses Gwinn greeting Mathy

"Another newcomer?" Beniel thinks to himself.

Fair enough, I suppose it means us readers actually have to think :P

Beniel frowns, as he notices Morla's evil grin from nearby. Shaking of his unease, he rearranges his face into a friendly smile. "I'm sorry, good dwarf, my name is Beniel, of the Imperial Trades. Might I be honored enough to learn the name of you and your companion?"

Enjoyed the writing style, but didn't really like the way the plot flowed (or didn't flow). But that might just be me. In any case, I look forward to seeing what happens next :)

Beniel looks up from one of Harnquist's anvil at the sound of nearby voices. Seeing Buuldor and Mathy, he thought to himself, potential customers?. "I suppose it's worth a try", he mumbled under his breath. "Good kra, and master dwarf, might you be interested in some fine blades?"

[I thought that we should have a location, and Harnquists seems as good a place as any to start. We can always move on to other places later :) ]

PvP,PK and Thieving / Re: Thieving..The World according to TeaLeaF®

The problem with the introduction system is that it is very hard to say certain things to strangers. Say you are with a bunch of strangers, and you want to say something to a certain person. In real life, there is no problem saying things to specific people when you do not know their name, but with the introduction system it can be a real pain talking to "somebodys".
