I grew up in Hydlaa. Half a lifetime ago it feels like. And it nearly is on closer inspection. I logged in the other day for the first time in years and it gave jaded me a sad, bitter feeling of nostalgia. The game itself is great and the new features are neat, but I sorely miss all the old friends. It used to be that every sliver of time I had, if I wasn't in here I was thinking about it. But it just isn't the same now. I miss Rinenud.

Oh, we're still around. Watching you sleep and such. Observing. Waiting for Laanx to grace us with the right moment. When you least expect it, the Dark Empire will be there. Under your bed.

This was what I wanted when creating Parallo in the first place. He made his spot in the Dark Empire first by writing marches and such for them. Lets see it. I tried looking for videos and I tried searching the forums for it. Maybe I missed it Can anyone save me downloading the game to see it by recording some sort of demonstration or linking me to one? It'd be much appreciated and you'd have my gratitude.

Even Laanx could not preform the duties you mention, breaking that insolent whelp and building a man, not to He Who Cannot Be Named. The insufferable cur made a haimes of all my best machinations. Usually by involving said ladies of ill repute in his dire plots. Rest assured, I shall hunt this rapscallion down and make good my revenge, beginning with his sister.. or perhaps his brother.

Hey, anything going on in here? Did the grand old man of PS finally die off?

I've recently gotten into Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura. Really enjoyed the setting in the early game, but shame it ends up getting so rediculous with the absurd steampunk. The wolrd editor and multiplayer looks promising though. Not sure if I'd prefer to use that or a toned down and more historical version of Victoriana, the pen and paper one.

I'm a pub musician. I 'sing for my supper', but with an instrument. I'd sooner choke on my own vomit than stoop to performing U2. I wouldn't be quite as adverse to doing a little of Mr. Van, but as I said, I'm singing for my supper and it is a thin line we must tread; then I'd probably not be paid.

p.s.  Parallo, Ireland is not at all boring, I still am in awe of the country that gave us James Joyce, many things must simmer underneath the gorgeous cold countryside....

I'm the only person I know that has read more than the Dubliners. Romantic Ireland's dead and gone, It's with O'Leary in the grave.

Seriously, there are no more Shaws, Wildes, na nGopaleens, Kavanaghs, Yeats'. Well, we have Heaney but he is senile.  Everyone seems to think we're this island full of little scholars when we are still just an island full of west British peasants.

Hey you guys!

So loads of shit is going down over the world. What is happening in your country? We've been relatively calm in Ireland, given the economic situation, that Omagh bomber chap aside.

I'm sure whereever you are is more interesting. Tell us about it!

Is Parallo actually returning?
I'll be popping in the odd time for a spell once I get the thing running proper. All sorts of graphical problems on the system I tried first.

Don't worry... if Caraick walks past the DE, all but two will die from the smell.  Problem solved.
We have Jekkar on our side, but chemical warfare is too low, even for us.

To be honest, I'd like to see less grind in this game. My character is supposedly as intelligent as a stone in spite of the only training I ever did being in intelligence and every in game effot being towards some academic pursuit. And bloody hell it was a grind. I would loath to have said to the hint or suggestion of a plot that I would love to partake but I've got to go kill things so I can get smart. But thems the game mechanics. Makes very little sense to me. But then again maybe I'm just being silly because I was so in love with the skill system in Lovecraft Country.

Thats only A-G. And it's an old shot so there have been a fair few added since.
