Crash in Ojaveda VBO on, or not
« on: June 01, 2018, 10:32:35 am »
Hi everybody !

Nice to find that community and this fantastic world  \\o// but…

For my first steps I had crashes immediatly when I entered the world as report by Sheol in an other topic.
I put VBO on, and could play for 3 days in welcome Hydlaa, Hydlaa and east Hydlaa.

When I crosed for Ojavepa, game crashed during loading.
re-starting, and game crash at the very end of loading (better ;))
re-re-starting but never better, game crash at the end of the progress bar.

I turned VBO off and it seemed to work. I could chat, open bag, read map. When I looked around it crashed.
I turn VBO on and it seemed to work too, but crashed as soon as I moved.

You have to know that I can't use launcher (it launches himself a few times and crash) so I use directly the client.

I show you the begining of log (you may find something in the head ;) ) As you see I use a Mac.
I'll show you the rest if you need of course :p

automatic traduction:
Congratulations and thank you to those who have allowed, in any way, this world to see the day and live until today \ o /
Even if my configuration forbids me to go further, it will have been a great discovery. Whenever I meet people who have other motivation than enrichment (in money) it makes me happy

Welcome to PS!

I'm not a Mac (or PS) developer, but from the crash log you provided it appears to be a bug in the Mac OpenGL driver. Are there newer versions of the driver that you can update to?

thank you for the rapid answer :)

I'll have a look for the driver.

I found an issue by turning off the grass effect in graphics parameters.
