Not sure I'm entirely happy with it, but I tried to do a sort of symbolic "tarot card" style thing. Link because the image is rather large (I think) and the content is gory.

I decided to alter the background a tad because it strayed from what I wanted to convey with "busyness." I'll post it here (if the image is too large feel free to remove, moderators.)

Love the silouhettes and the dress's design - I think the background could benefit from more visual interest. The solid red was less overpowering without the eyes. Perhaps making the broken chain into a pattern?

I agree with you if I'm right about what you meant. xD The thing that bugged me about the eyes was that they were too "3D," they popped too much, and I wanted all of that focus on Prreta. The background is overwhelmingly red, I'm trying to decide what exactly I should do about it. But the broken chain as a pattern is a good idea...maybe I'll try finagling that somehow. I've also considered just adding more detail to -Prreta,- layering in the shading, defining her lines with more prominence.

@ Mariana: Scars are not just dark colored stripes. They are still fleshy and often protrude slightly, even if they may still have a groove in the center when the cuts were deep. I believe they may look a bit more credible when colored with some embossing effect, and either a bit reddish or pale, rather than blackened.

@LigH: thanks! Yeah, I realize the scars have no sway towards realism and look sloppy. These are really more sketches than anything though, so long as they come across as scars  I'm comtent.  ;D
