General Discussion / Hello Everyone

Wow, its been a long time since I have been on PS or its forums. I have been busy with school and other things. I see the forum has changed and is looking very nice. But I am looking for the source for this game. All the source, the client and server source if its avalible. I am also looking for a few friends who once new me as Evangan. I would like to meet up with them again if they still come here.
I am looking for alot of things, maybe some documentation on Planeshift. I have been around for awhile, and seen some of the planeshift source but thats all XML and I was wondering where is all the meat of the game? I just want to know how the game is made, what graphics library it uses and things. What language it was built on and stuff like that.
I have been curious about this stuff ever since i started planeshift some time ago. I also want to know if the server has had Many updates since they wiped and added the new DR. I would kind of like to play again but I think most of my time will be spent here in the forum because I am learning C/C++ , OPENGL, and DIRECTX. So I can create games like this one. I know my path is a long way but I am up for the challenge.

Sorry its nothing against you. I just do that sometimes..
But as for the virus, mostlikey its just your computer, and as for norton, it aint bad. But I use others with it. Good to have multiple virus blockers. But here what you have to do.
0. Disconnect from teh interweb.
1. Format your hard drive.

Another problem, if you try to jump on to somethings you will get stuck, it will cause you to run in place and you have to unstick to get out. Instead of sliding down the side of it, or getting on top of it, you get stuck to it.
Example: The balcony in Oja Tavern, try to jump on or over the low wall you will get stuck to it.
Example 2 : the benches in the Lannx temple, if you sit on one and try to jump on the back of another you will get stuck to it.
Another problem, if you leave the game after getting stuck and come back and use unstick you go straight to the DR. That caused a problem because I was in Hydlaa and I\'m and Enkidukai. So I have to walk all the way back from Oja..

it was fun....
it was also challenging...
unless climbing is going to be harder, put it back...
Also, i get bored with PS now as soon as I turn the game on, I do a little thing to make my stamina infinate. I think it has to do with running and jumping.
This is how i did one, In oja, I ran and jumped off a small ledge a few times and noticed later i had infinate stamina. Then i could run all I wanted and jump all I wanted. After running and jumping alot later, my stamina dropped to 0.0% and i could no longer move. It won\'t refill after.
it was fun....

Fall damage- Everytime I try to leave oja, and climb the side of a hill, if I slide down i die and return back to oja.
fly+jump- No more flying means no more climbing, no more climbing means i get bored really quick because when im not RPing i dont like to just sit around a kill monsters i like to climb.
Lag in Hydlaa plaza- I get lag spiked there alot, cant go back sense i died.
Infinate stamina- Once after attempting to climb I was granted infinate stamina. Then suddenly it was dropped to 0 and i couldnt move and it would refill.
HUD- The gui now is huge, and weird. I cant even change the skin to elves and I can\'t configure it how i had it before. Its an eye strain, not only that but the font is a few points higher as well.
Hair colors- The colors of the hair look horrible. They dont look realistic. They look like you took the original hair skin and changed the tones to make it look different color. Red headed dwarfs look like raggedy ann dolls. Black hair looks like a cut out in the \'space-time continueum\'. Brown hair on ywwnn females... well... it looks sick.
Stances- The new stances arn\'t adjusted for attack distance. So when using these new stances you don\'t hit the enemy you go through him and hit behind him.

Sarscasimism Ill spelded it any wey I want!
Personally, I liked planeshift ALOT more before the update, it was a great place to just hang out when bored and you can RP. I mean it was cool. Models looked good, everything to me looked nice. But now.. I cant even stand the game. Just soo much wrong with it, I couldn\'t listen them all because there is so many I can\'t remember them.

Definatly, it will make the creature more smooth and life like, also, make sure you dont have some extra hidden ones. Try not to make it look flat though, put some muscle shape into it.
