lol, haha eaven in the internet aspect the same i said before aply's, there are place's in the us that look like a 3rd world country.

True, you rarely get wi-fi (I assume you meant that by porto?) internet, even here. Although that is changing. Cable/DSL is about as good as it gets. I myself have a 3MB connection. No limit that I know of tho. But I pay $60 a month for my internet. Ugh :( I'm updating to 10MB in the near future, it is $10 more per month.

And off-topic, I know, but Minetus is right about some parts of the US being like a 3rd world country... new york, chicago, L.A., and hollywood are what most people see (I guess), but in reality alot of cities are rundown and poor. Take mine for example... Athens, AL, "the original one horse town". Population: Nil ...and if you take away the horse, population -1   ;D

But I'm moving to "The Twin Cities" St. Paul/Minneapolis, Minnesota in two years anyway!  \\o//

I think he meant the city Porto, in Portugal.  ;)

Where I live (Holland) ADSL is quite cheap by the way. Only 15 euro per month for 20 mbps, virtually without a download limit. I think that's because of the high population density and the soft soil, which makes it relatively cheap to connect it all with fiber.

And 15 euro's is only $20!!! That's way cheaper than what I pay. Here, fiber is only available in really major cities, like jacksonville, fl, and usually is only available for commercial use because of it's expense. Your lucky!  :woot:

Good old days when I lived in Finland and I had the best possible internet without limit for 20 euros per year... And phone network 150km away from North Pole, inside a huge natural park...

I thought Athens was in Greece!  X-/ I did not know you had an Athens in USA!!!! I am as bad as that in Geography!  :sweatdrop:

Hehe, funny thing is, the most well-known Athens, here, is in the state of Georgia... it's a bigger city. I'm always having to explain that I'm not from that Athens... but this is the first time someone has thought I was from greece!  :P

Well, I was never in Greece, but I would love too (I am an architect that loves ancient temples). I was only in San Francisco some years ago because of Yaoi Con, so I don't know that much of America. But I did notice I knew more states and cities of the US than most Americans I met!  X-/ But only the famous ones...  :oops:

But believe me, there is nothing worse than your own future mother-in-law telling you that there is no country more east than Spain, meaning Portugal does not exist to Europeans that live more western than France...  :sweatdrop: I simply do not exist...  X-/
