Man have I really been here 4 years already? hard to believe. I think I stuck around T4C longer but it became pay to play so I got away from it eventually.
Anyway my first post (http://www.hydlaaplaza.com/smf/index.php?topic=18018.msg209141#msg209141) was an indication of where my interest lay.
What kind of first post did you make?

Well apparently my first post was about a combat system (http://www.hydlaaplaza.com/smf/index.php?topic=7423.msg80666#msg80666). Considering how much of a game there was when I started, I'm not sure if this was me being naive, or just wishful. Either way, I still agree that that sort of system would be awesome, though I may be a little more realistic as to how hard it would be to implement.

Mine seems to be about having an alcohol vendor present during an RP duel event. :P While not of particular importance to me it certainly is IC for Marqsaynt.

mine was about being banned from the irc webchat. from what i can tell, back then i actually cared about grammar and thought online chatting was so awesome i was a nuisance. ;D it made me giddy
i don't remember any of the posts i made back then.... weird

I still haven't managed to get PlaneShift to work in Linux...just resorted to running it in Vista cos I dual boot. Annoying though, I don't usually start up in Vista. :(

Mine was a simple question about whether or not its fair game to attack NPC's using terrain as an aide ( ie. shooting down from a ledge ). The thread turned into a bitter argument and then got locked and deleted. ::|

That is, typically how people can see other people's first posts. now, if the true first post had been moved to the three sections of the forum you need special access rights to see, well then, only those special accounts will be able to see them. but for the most part, the steps above are 99% accurate for the general forum populace.
[e] To clarify, accounts like spam bots and what not will have first posts and really all posts being hidden away in the trash area that the general forum community can't see. Other than that though, it's really all there in the public area, as far as first posts go anyways.

Hello people. It's been awhile, and I bet not one of you remember me. My first post was seven years ago about a bug (the game crashed every time someone spoke). I hung around for about 15 posts and disappeared. Now I've come back, because I'm interested at what state this thing is in. And hopefully, after looking at the 15 posts I made, I've grown a bit (last time I was here, I was twelve, so I certainly hope so). I haven't been able to test the game yet, I'm downloading it at the moment. I'm interested about the fact that there is actually an MMORPG that has roleplaying in it. And it's free. If I get excited about this thing, there's a change you'll be seeing more of me than just 15 posts.

My first post was deleted. I won't repeat what it said but if i recall correctly it consisted of three words, one of which was automatically replaced by "peanut". As far as I know I never had a post deleted after that first one. Back than they also showed a deleted post count, so it was visible for all the world that I had been a sinner.

I had a trip down memory lane just now. Wow, I was surprised at my first post, I was actually helping someone.

No my friend, it tis just roleplay. You can get apples, fish and other items in the game. You cannot however mix them to make; lets say an "apple-fish".
