A simple poll to see if the tutorial should stay or go

I think there should be a tutorial, but a less confusing one.

If you look around there is a way to skip the tutorial, but the new player to the game will then be nuisance in the Hydlaa world. They will ask questions in gossip, main (OOC'ly of course), and help channels. Almost all of their questions would have been answered had they taken the 15 minutes to do the tutorial.

Just a few words of experience.

Provide that tutorial with random questions, only to see whether putative players are having brains that they could come up with.
If thats too challenging, something along "2+2" could already do the trick (of course only the ones failing would be allowed to pass, as it already is right now).

I think the tutorial should be composed more about RPing, because it's really difficult to deal with a noob unning around hydlaa who does not know how to RP. At least if the noob knew how to RP then he could RP-ask some of the questions that are in the tutorial now.

I think there should be a tutorial, like the one presented by a few of the people who are or used to be players a while ago...

I think that the way the Quest system is it's still pretty hard to figure out how to start a quest, I have well and truely forgotten, but does the NPC tell you to right click and click on talk to talk with her, then from there on it shouldn't have to teach you about crafting and fighting, as that will get really annoying once every profession is implemented. Imagine having to go around learning Magic, Crafting, Fighting, Jewel Cutting, Pottery, Harvesting, Cooking. A noob should be able to basically run through the tutorial knowing enough to support them while in the game. It just needs a lot more discussion.

Considering how different PS is in terms of playability compared to other MMOs, it needs a tutorial just to let people down easy about all the stuff they are used to doing in other MMOs but can't do in PS.

The tutorial before was great, it acted as a filter for people to impatient/dumb for PS.  Anyway, where would many of us be without it?
