It's an OOC meeting where players can hear what's going on behind the scenes and ask any questions they might have. If you want a teleport, just send a /tell to Uadjet or ask in the Global channel.

(22:15:27) [chat] Uadjet:  There are some that won't see much use, I think. Rifle, Pistol1H, and Pistol2H

(22:20:28) [chat] Uadjet:  Torch can be used to hold up any item you can put in your hand. I've done that in events a few times.
(22:20:48) [chat] Uadjet:  Barrel is... pretty specific. Maybe carrying anything large over your shoulder.
(22:21:23) [chat] Uadjet:  And Box is also very useful for "I swear it was this big" stories, especially for those with the fishing skill. ;)

(22:34:13) [chat] Uadjet:  He's worked on textures, so that not every dungoen will look the same.
(22:34:36) [chat] Thosor:  The bubble around me is very large.
(22:35:17) [chat] Thosor:  Especially when in an enclosed space or near a wall.
(22:35:39) [chat] Uadjet:  And I think next up is treasure. not loot dropped by NPCs, but rooms that can be generated with end-of-dungeon treasure.

(22:38:00) [chat] Uadjet:  Yeah, that's the kind of thing. Weapons, glyphs, staves, etc.

(22:41:08) [chat] Uadjet:  We don't have mithril, but we do have blue-steel and tigrain-steel.

(22:42:53) [chat] Uadjet:  There are armor types that aren't normally available. 50q versions of those could work as mid-tier treasure.

(22:47:03) [chat] Anysu:  Although I wonder with numerous chests and loot in dugeon's that are random, how is one able to carry all the loot.?

(22:48:23) [chat] Uadjet:  Well, will you be looting every random longsword? It may end up being like an Elder Scrolls dungeon, where you ahve to pick what you take.

(22:49:01) [chat] Gonger:  That is consistent with many rogue-likes - you have to choose what to keep and what to drop.
(22:49:33) [chat] Anysu:  Thought dungeon and loot were random? So you could not go back and get missed items from before.
(22:50:19) [chat] Uadjet:  They can be generated to have a specific lifespan, I think. I could be wrong.

(22:54:06) [chat] Uadjet:  So I've also proposed a spyglass to Talad. It's simpler than I thought, as long as you aren't trying to view distant map sections.
(22:54:23) [chat] Uadjet:  It's just a matter of changing the field of view, and Unreal takes it from there.
(22:54:41) [chat] Thosor:  An optical sight for crossbow?
(22:54:55) [chat] Uadjet:  It would also need either a first person camera set up at the player's location, or a little trick to make the player invisible to themselves. Otherwise you're just zooming in on your own back.
(22:55:32) [chat] Uadjet:  That's very similar, Thosor, though you'd need the art for that as well. Bows could have something similar to aid with aim, though it's really not needed.
(22:57:09) [chat] Thosor:  Yeah, always shooting back of my head.
(22:58:25) [chat] Uadjet:  And I've got the new NPCs done, and the items are pretty basic. Two clusters of critter spawns and a few items placed is all that's need for those quests to be added. Well, that and me checking the quest steps to make sure I didnt' make any errors that would prevent the quest from being completed.
(22:59:21) [chat] Uadjet:  With regard to zooming, Unreal does have "owner not see", which allows the game to make you invisible to yourself, as well as "only owner see", which I'm sure will be sueful as well.

(23:06:27) [chat] Thosor:  Some may not show up if it is going to be broadcast.
(23:06:52) [chat] Anysu:  What Thosor said. Or participate much in rp event because of it.
(23:08:07) [chat] Anysu:  Personally do not think is enough to say is 'being broadcast' but do you want to be broadcasted.' With option to vote yes or no for players.
