You can now dl the latest skin. Use svn clint to check out the followind ulrs:

TheOrganisationBlackEdition.zip goes to skins folder and the gui goes to data folder. REMEMBER TO BACKUP YOUR ORGINAL GUI FOLDER.

Please report any bugs here or in the irc. Enjoy and merry christmas


EDIT: if you use this then please use your svn clint and update it.

Ok tryed with my own compiled cal3d lib and still no go. Spawn command crashes the server :@#\

I modified the inventory.xml to use the default inventory background an I also changed the image name. Now I need to take some time of for few days. My elbow is currently way to sore :(

I'l do that and :offtopic: One thing that still annoys me is the gradient banding as can be seen from screenshot. I really wish the devs would do something about that. This has quite little banding but in some gradients it is such a huge problem, that the gradient is useles at least on my system.

Also one thing that I would like to do is get a skinning tutorial on http://doc.hydlaa.com/ ...but I kind've need a GPL skin for this.  Only acraig can do file uploads on his engine documentation wiki, but if anyone wants to get started writing textual content I would be glad to help.

Well you are free to use either of my skin. This new one will be finished guite soon. I have skinned allmost all. Oh and then there is some bug fix work to do. I have also used Caarries trade and inventory window with some modifications. I will try to figure out some good way to use them as is. The problem really is only that white text doesn't show very well on my skin. After that I can add some other Caarries designs.
Oh and both my skin are in planeshift3dmod under blacgdogspark.

Hmm... Thas is actuallu great idea. This skin actually were ready, but then I decided to take the skin work even further an started to skin loading windows etc ;D This one has also loooots of work since I mod every xml in the gui folder so far it has been way over 80h ::| Well I let you know when this one is ready. So that you can add it.

and as the inventory shows this skin is specialy made for the guild The Organisation.

skill window is modded version from niko's design.

Also thanks for Grunior on providing the logo in vector format. Orginaly made by Artisian

Yes mine work's with debug, but don't know why it wont with release. I'm preatty sure it is only something to do with cs, but hey someone more wise can tell more on that. Oh and I did not try so that I compile cs with debug and ps as release so that might also work. Well anyways ps is unfinished so I think it should be build with debug option.

I had the same problem, but then I changed the build to debug with dll for both cs and ps. after that it worked just fine. I did notice that when building cs with release with dll it throws 5 errors. with debug i only got 1 and it were some test app.
Hope this helps others trying to build with VC9.

Wow those are nice. GUI mods are nice, but they are such a pain to keep updated espes if you mod all :D

but worth it in the end, right? ;)

Well yeah it is. My initial GUI design had all the xml files modded ;D but I then dropped those thought it would have looked much better with the mods.
