The death of the old guild leadership is hardly worth to lament, there are new, happy and peaceful times ahead of us! Good shall prevail in Yliakum and the Dark Empire will do everything to fight the forces of evil.
Edit:
Despite the Empire and the RHoP being neighbours, the latters are still technically tenants, no?

In general, yes, owning houses being provided by the Octarchy; there are reasons why the Octarchy could revoke the house ownership contracts.
