“Caihon, it does not have to end this way,” her voice, calm and clear, rings across the plain. “Come, we are brothers and sisters.” All eyes are fixed on this tall, striking Ynnwn woman as an imposing Diaboli strides toward her, right hand held out seemingly in friendship. On either side of them, murmurs ripple across the squadrons of Octarchy guards and the hostile ranks of Diaboli and Dermorian warriors at the forest fringe. And then without warning — steel flashes in Caihon’s left hand, the woman crumples to the ground — and it is as if all the Dark Realm breaks loose in epic and bloody carnage. But as her strength ebbs, Lerivia summons for the last time a vision of an infant, and her only thought is of a secret never spoken.

About Us

Ordo Phalanster is an academy dedicated to training and advancement in the martial and cultural arts of the Ynnwn, Diaboli and Dermorians — races that share a closely interwoven history. By forging a strong community, the academy aims to teach its members practical skills; strengthen understanding of Diaboli, Dermorian and Ynnwn cultures; and promote the influence of our races and cultures throughout Yliakum.

[OOC We are a Planeshift guild welcoming active players of all experience levels who have an interest in RP. Characters should be Ynnwn, Dermorian or Diaboli.]

History

Originally a martial guild, Ordo Phalanster was all but destroyed by betrayal within the ranks, leaving its founder and Grandmaster, the Ynnwn Aschatan, disillusioned. Until in some ruins he discovered ancient scrolls suggesting his direct blood relation to Lerivia Smear, Yliakum’s first Ynnwn and founder of an Alchemical Academy. Aschatan resolved to rebuild the Ordo Phalanster according to fresh ideals, uniting the Dermorian, Diaboli and Ynnwn races in an academy of knowledge, community and influence.

Structure

The guild is organized into three wings: Ynnwn, Dermorian and Diaboli, with a triumvirate of Hierophants — wing leaders — overseen by the Grandmaster. Senechals, led by the 1st Senechal, are the armed force in charge of guild security. Heralds, led by the 1st Herald, handle public relations. See more here http://jejah.free.fr

Fogil Alerag is torn, caught in the rising tension between his wise old Ynnwn guild leader and the headstrong Diaboli herald. The Diaboli starts to shout, "I toil for the guild and I bring you what I find ... and you - do - NOTHING -about the killings!" What! The unfair accusation strains Grandmaster Aschatan's reserve. "Listen Stellan, your recent actions bring a lot of suspicions among the guild, some of us are doubting your loyalty. So pay attention to what you can say about my presumed immobility! I am trying to keep the Ordo united!"

Ordo Phalanster - the latest casualty of Yliakum's increasing lawlessness?

[Maybe. Or this is our second promotional post!  We have been progressing toward our goals (see first post above) and enjoying our involvement in Yliakum's present climate of death, dark dealings, and glimmers of goodness, and WE ARE CURRENTLY RECRUITING Ynnwn, Dermorian and Diaboli characters.

With three racial branches AND a new guildhouse in Ojaveda, there is plenty of scope for RP fueled by friendship ... or rivalry! This early stage is also a great time to join because every idea, every contribution, counts. As the guild is established, we hope to further explore the three races' cultural lore, roots and connections - all character types, martial as well as mercantile, scholarly and artistic, are a fit.
