A leaflet falls at your feet on a soft breeze.

CHAMBRE ELECT

   Chambre Elect is a democratic fraternity, a brotherhood, a sisterhood, an organised society associated together in an environment of companionship dedicated to the intellectual, physical, social and financial development of its members.

   Chambre Elect endeavours to promote trade between the varied professions and further the economies of Yliakum. It supports both the orthodox and the unorthodox in terms of making a living by creating chains of commerce. The study of trade in Yliakum  by Chambre Elect pursues the development of entrepreneurial concepts as yet unrealised.

   Our Initiates we shall nurture and our Internees we hope to guide, the Clandestine shall be aided and likewise our Fellows. In honour we shall hold our Masters, their knowledge an asset to us all.

   Our members shall vow to respect the Octarchal Decree, honour our gods and aid our equals among the residents of Yliakum such as Chambre Elect permits. Those among our number obligate themselves to embrace Chambre Elects traditions, its constitutions and abide by its process above any other. The structure of Chambre Elects hierarchy shall be determined by its members by process.

   CHAMBRE ELECT RANK STRUCTURE.

1* Initiates: Those without a trade.

2* Internees: Those under disciplinary investigation.

3* Clandestine: Those with an unorthodox trade.

4* Fellows: Those with a legitimate trade.

5* Masters: Those that have mastery of their field.

6* Grand Master: One Master that manages the organisations structure.

7* Luminaries: Those with social, educational, financial and political influence.

8* High Custodian: One equal to the Grand Custodian in all but name.

9* Grand Custodian: One who oversees Chambre Elects affairs.

Chambre Elect no longer exists as it was originally intended and is now concentrating its activities as a merchant guild under the new name 'The Market Chamber'.

Hi Dorbaine, thank you for posting; this is very exciting. RP-wise, will The Market Chamber interact and engage with factors influencing market forces (e.g. labour unions, political turmoil, acts of the gods, etc)?
