Training problems

This is really going to hurt my reputation as a non-newbie. But I cant train any my skills anymore I was working on mining and it whoulnt let me go put more into it (It stopped at a halfway point) can anyone tell me why?

Hmm... perhaps you ran out of Tria? That is all I can think of at the moment.

if you have more than 50 tria and 1 progression point then you have to use your mining skill somewhere... the closest are the gold mines just outside the magic shop... every time you find a gold ore you will earn practise points, when you got enough of thoose you will level up in mining... you can see how much more training you need at your mining skill.

Strange things can happen when training skills and stats while suffering from lag. One of my chars seems to have 150.5 Strength for instance [stats bar is half green even though maxed]. Sometimes it looks as if a skill has not been fully trained when in fact it has been. Try mining and see if you are getting any experience.

Well its not doing this to mining alone its doing it to all my skills..... Im thinking its a bug. I didnt even reach 1 on smithing.

If the bar is completly green you have to go use it to gain the rest of the level.  Theorectical training only gets you so far, then it the practical training that you must do.  Only stats are able to be trained without involing practical training, not any of the skills.

Its not even fully green.. It says i cant train this skill any higher so i cant even get to a 1 blacksmithing.
Sorry im not fully use to this training sutff.

There are 2 parts in your skills training :

1- You need to get some technical knowledge with a NPC
2- Then you need to use the skill to get to the next level

So take your rockpick and go in a mine  :)

I dig gold but i never knew that whould help... My guild really needs to inform me more.
Well thanks for the help but how do i make iron stocks if i cant cool them?
