Hey all

New player here. Are there plans to get Planeshift on Steam?

Welcome avguste! Yes, we've discussed getting it on steam once it's ported to unreal. Could be a great way to increase visibility and make it more convenient for new players to try it out. Could also streamline the update process by handling that automatically.

That could indeed boost visibility, just hoping the game will still be available as a direct download for us who don't want to install steam. But then I am probably just getting carried away  :beta:

Steam sounds like an excellent idea if you want players.

A generic search (without the magic word "planeshift") turns up every other free game first.
