these were art caused bugs -the lightmaps where corrupted in the shipped art-

the first time it ever happened to me I was on the road back from oja and projected across the landscape where what appeared to be sprites from Space Invaders. I swear I took a screenshot of it but I can't seem to find it. I thought there was a GM or dev somewhere out there messing with me. Of course, Ara took it as a message from the Gods.
