Let it be known that the Alliance of Carceri is hereby formed between the Disciples of the Black Flame and the Incensio Tenebrae. This alliance is meant to be the perfect union of chaos and evil. Said chaos will be provided by the ciphers. The Incensio Tenebrae will be donating the evil. :P

Who are the Disciples of the Black Flame?
That\'s the new official name of the blackflame clan. You like? :))
Does this mean there\'s no more Dark Alliance?
Not necessarily. It just means that there is not one for right now. According the the Dark Empire, if the Dark Alliance was going to be restarted, it would be so with the Blackflame Clan. Since this means our official withdrawal, there simply is not one for the time being.
What on earth is Carceri?
Carceri is the prison plane where neutral to chaotic evil villains are punished. In the rp history of this, Seperot\'s guild will have reminded Yarulion of a faction similar to his own, this one called the Fated Order. The name of the alliance is commemorated to this plane because of its nature.
Why does the BFC website look so crappy?
Eh, give me a break. I\'m working on a new one. :P
Should I be scared?
Yes. Yes, you should.

The alliance is as-is and final. No other organizations will be added into the mix.
The structure is very rigid, and there is only room for two.

Also, the goals are very simple: to further the individual goals of both member guilds, as well as to mesh the chaos of one guild with the evil of the other into a powerful force to be reckoned with. Neither guild\'s individual goals have changed (well, my guild is getting a makeover, but that\'s separate and would have happened regardless) and membership in the alliance will only be faciliated through membership in either of the participating guilds.

Going to make a website for the alliance?

A alliance made for what? What is there to accomplish by forming a alliance at this moment? Is there any battles being fought? Any distant wars we know not about? Economic help? It confuses me why you start making alliances before you find out what your ally will be like once the actually progress starts..but do what you wish!

lol Depthblade think about it. The two leaders have already talked about it and their future plans. With an alliance at this time they now don\'t have to worry about one guild when they go into CB.
And besides they may have secret plans
PS: good to see somebody took up my place as general smartalek of the merc guild though :P

depth this is handeled by normal members of the community not fesx2 and edumb :P
this alliance should just nicely benifit both guilds...plus it gives me something to do during that quiet 5 seconds a day where all the thinking is alowed to get in and i dont whant it too :P

Well, with no battles being fought, no distant wars we know not about, and no economy, per se, to help, I guess alliances have just as much of a point as...

Hmm, good to see that the talks are all done and it is finalized. :) Like Yarulion said in the first post, you should be scared or at least a little tickled by the thought of you getting smashed into the arena walls. Either way is fine by me.
OT: Wow, this thread couldn\'t be made official without the stupidity of DepthBlade and just all-postingness by Waylander, now could it? And about the horse thing, Empanado, your name does sound like some sort of horse.

With an alliance at this time they now don\'t have to worry about one guild when they go into CB.
Very wrong ;) There are still a few guilds who could kill them both without much effort, although I doubt any will do so straight away, or it\'d just be boring. :)
Anyhow, bad luck with this new alliance, hope it fails miserably :P

What he means is that there is one guild less to care about, an alliance between 2 guilds shows a form of brotherhood, trust, partnership and a similar goal to achieve.
Next to that, anything done by one part of the Alliance can be backed up by the other thus we are helping eachother out.
This Alliance is a step for the future for both guilds and it has been discussed with both the counsil members and the chosen in our guild, Yarulian made great effort constructing and planning the Alliance and with the planning this Alliance it is not likely to fail.

you can become powerfull the cabal way ( spam the forums ) or become powerfull our way, get more members and plan stuff, next to that, it\'s holiday season ;) so most of the members are still away for a few weeks.
but most of the members should be back by now so we will be more active now.
and if you want to know if we are active, check the guild forums they show our true activity.

Do I need to explain again what activity means in a game that cannot even be named a game? You can\'t even call this activity!
You know, it\'s not hard to check IRC ... thier own forums or stuff. They keep contact with each other, that is all it matters. They really need to come all here to post? Would you people feel better?!

Kierns right seppie\'s not as big of a ( insert word here ) as draklar is and i thank god (any god iam not picky) for that.
Besides dorb baby, we have got a big load of members go look at your washing machine. IF the Guilds were washing machines we would easily produce more Clean clothes than you can produce pink clothes ( thats for putting your reds with whites ) :D
And Yarulion nice opening but why have 2 different guilds that produce the same product that Cabal produces cheeper faster and better ? WE make Choas and Evil in the same factory asemble it in the same factory ship it off direct ready to be picked up at your local serviceprovider no processing required ! Instant WHAM Just the way mum/dad/uncle/aunt/grandparents/in-laws( delete which ever unnessary) use to make it ... :D

Well, this is a little earlier than I expected to post anything of this nature, but I will do a little pre-release at the urging of one of my friends *looks up* :D
The ranks are already beginning to be filled and now Yliakum will finally see what has been happening in the background.
AS OF RIGHT NOW these are the ranks which have been posted. There are many more members in the guild who have not been assigned a position yet, and many more invitations I have not heard one way or the other from.

The Cabal will never hope to achieve what this alliance can.
For below, strength lies not only in numbers. Besides, my guild went totally inactive, and in a few days may have as many as twenty members, all without you noticing. So what does your attention span matter again?

Heh Annah, IT I check their forums quite often, and they are mostly inactive. As for Disciples well, I have very rarely heard of them on the forums as of late.
Heh and besides Annah you want a strong guild when going into CB, the guilds that are *waiting* for it will be most surprised when they see that many of the new players have not heard of the guild. You must maintain an active status in the forums if you wish to be noticed.
Don\'t worry though, most people think about stuff as much as you do, so it\'s common :)
One last thing, I never said anything about activity, I asked about strength (ie number of guild members), so, nearly your whole post was...pointless and off topic.

On topic :)
As you can see the time to make my position in the Black Flame guild official has come. So, from now on you can consider me back in the guildy society ^_^
I hope I\'ll manage to split between EVE and Planeshift, but what\'s the he*l, PS is my life.
We have a new web site in development, site done by one of our web designers (yes, pro web designers from Black Fire Studios, a games company :P ), and we hope soon it will be up, together with all new content. Also, we have some other plans with the guild, that will be made public in time. So, stick with this thread!

By the way, about the ranks... I\'m sure i\'ve heard \"Catechumen\" somewhere else, but i can\'t remember where or what did it mean. Um...what is it, again?

Proselyte means convert (like you\'re proselytizing a religion)
Catechumen is an old word for someone being taught the principles of Christianity. I think it\'s monastic in origin if I\'m not mistaken.
Votary means someone who is devoted because they have taken vows of membership, much like monks do.
Laureate just means someone who is laudable above everyone else that acts like they do or does what they do.
Maven is obvious - someone who is good at what they do.
Canon I derived from canonize - to make someone a saint.
Sectarian means a member of a sect, but more than that is someone who is zealously devoted to it.
Rector is one of the leaders in a church. It has different meaning whether you\'re talking about the Anglican or Catholic church, or a religious school.
Council of Apotheosis - Apotheosis is a fancy word for transcending mortality, i.e. a mortal becoming a god.
Exemplar Regnant - exemplar is the insignia, who everyone models after, the example. Regnant just means in charge. :P

Gah, I come back after a week\'s hiatus and I\'m getting criticized by my own guild for a poor word choice... :P
An odd coincidence, then. It\'s sort of a stretch, but irony is understood colloquially to be an odd coincidence in my part of the country. I guess cause you don\'t expect something to be coincidental? Particularly if it\'s odd? I don\'t know. BTW I\'m back... sorta.
