As some of you know, a few of the GMs have been kicking me on sight (Cad and Moogie), and Psybur\'s account had it\'s password changed, so he\'s been effectively banned. I recently heard that more than likely the same thing will be happening to me as well.
Now, I\'ve had my account wiped of crystals once before, so this time I\'m going to try to give away the crystals before they get trapped in my account.
So, after I\'ve given crystals to friends, associates, and those who attempted to defend my actions, I will drop the remainder in the temple, once a reasonable amount of people have signed one (30\'s a nice number).

I am also against Zet being banned due to the fact that people had the chance to stop him but rejected it.

Yes people play planeshift still, and some people made mods to make it more fun, but then people who havn\'t got the mods complain, so people get banned, and then the game sux, people leave, next release finally comes, we have all sorts of crappy banning systems like having to have credit cards to sign up, and yay, we have a everquest clone :D
Anyway... Lets start up the \'unban Zet\' movement!!!
I am also against Zet being banned due to the fact that people had the chance to stop him but rejected it.
Aye, make that two of us with that opinion. :)

We will require everyone to have a webcam so that we can monitor who is actually playing. Then we\'ll make an AI system that can see from the persons face if he/she is cheating or not.

Quite long ago I played Planeshift... Just like there were some news updates :rolleyes:
But on topic, I suppose it couldn\'t hurt to have some more crystals... Or does it? :D

If you don\'t want my crystals don\'t pick them up; it\'s a rather simple thing to do.

Heh, sorry about that. It\'s just that you were the proverbial straw that broke the camel\'s back. Cad had been kicking me, and then you, and I got pissed. I do apologize about though. Though, I still think hevrah\'s pretty cool.

And rightly so, since everybody agreed to the unmodded and official rules and workings of the game, whereas modders chang these one-sidedly (i.e. without everybody else agreeing). Therefore, ppl. have every right to complain, because they don\'t get what they were promised anymore. Don\'t even try to put the blame on the ppl. complaining, as it solely rests on the modders.

I\'d hate credit card tracking, but obviously ppl., even in a small community like PS, can\'t be fair to each other. Therefore, they must be forced to be fair.

I don\'t know the facts and therefore will not take sides here. My general opinion is totally anti-cheat, though.
As for the crystals: my computers slowness and lagginess wouldn\'t permit collecting of > 1 crystal per minute (if it doesn\'t crash on the way to the temple, that is), so this question doesn\'t even exist for me. :D

WOW!!! Who would of ever thought that the GMS could actually kick someone for cheating? It was actually good of them to do that to show that they care about the community. So, if you don\'t wanna pay the time, don\'t do the crime. :rolleyes:

It has never been finalized that this will happen, and I highly doubt that the Devs will/or that the want to do it.It was just said as a possible approach if the cheating gets out of hand. So, shut up about it already!

Do you not think about the GMs who he, himself, said kept kicking him and he didn\'t like it? By, kicking him, they were giving an effort to make the community better. Do you also not remember the thread about Zet, and people getting banned, etc. etc? I admit that I went a bit overboard on my reply, but I still view it as the same way: All the cheaters should be given one warning, then the next step should be a ban. Simple as that. But, who cares what Faldrok thinks? :rolleyes:

Wrong. Zetsumei knew very well the line he was walking as he did what he did, I\'m not sure why he wasn\'t made to stop right away, probably because the developers were giving him too much slack. In any case, it does not mean he can continue doing something and not face consequences later on.
I don\'t know the deal with the game moderators, but as far as I know they don\'t make the rules and therefore shouldn\'t be able to bend them either way. But I don\'t know anything about that subject so I\'ll not go on.
And, for the record, I\'m against the crystal drop as they should just be deleted again.

I don\'t know the whole story, so I can\'t really side with anyone, but I don\'t really think they should be banned. If they are using mods to get more crystals, wipe the crystals, it\'s easy as that. It\'s not really fair to ban them, when they haven\'t done anything worthy of a ban really, why did they use the mods? for gan or for fun? perhaps just to show their abilities?

His accounts been wiped of crystals twice already, if I\'m not mistaken.

Adeli it doesnt work like that. The crystals that the cheaters steal arent in some other world...they belong to the hunter who play it fair. When modders take these crystals only to get them deleted they ruin the game for the others. Then there are always modders saying that they only take xtals that others dont know how to reach...but still I saw Zetsumei take a crystal just in front of me.
On the modder\'s screen, crystals dont like like crystals. They are giant pillars reaching for the skies...lemme know if thats fair

And Zet did offer a comprimise Kiern, he would give away 1/4 of all his crystal and stop modding if people were to leave him alone. This was completely ignored, he got crystal wiped and now he is modding again and we have to go through this all over again.
Anyways, somehow I doubt the pw swap will stop Zetsumei or Psybur for that fact.
PS: Yes I am Cadoras, notice how I am amazingly arrogant :D

A compromise? You don\'t seem to grasp the fact that he was breaking the rules, whether or not it is officially stated anywhere does not matter, at all. Therefore he is in no shape to make compromises. Though it does make it available to discussions. ;)
I didn\'t know about Psybur, good, the guy annoyed me.
