Well. I have noticed that one thing that sells the most in the games is sex.
You can see girls with big breasts and trimmed bodies in almost every game.
So what will happen if this developement goes on.

lol ! Couldn\'t agree more, notice lately the FF main characters looking more like women and then in 10-2 it was a women?

Let this be a caution to the developers.
I\'ve noticed this, of course. Both phenomenons, Male chars looking female, and sex as a sales gimmick. Sad, really.

Actually I\'m about to launch a crusade against Tolkien\'s writings... I mean look at elves! They\'re so feminine!

Heck, they could use the time they\'d spend playing to make their own game where women have beards and be happy with the \"huge\" cash income! \\o/

... Old? No. Grumpy? Well surely you know about that anyway.
It\'s not a problem everywhere, of course. I didn\'t propose making games completely lack \"appeal\", that\'s not realistic. Nor is the concept of games with too much \"appeal\".
Example: A few of my family members mistook \'Jak\', from the game Jak & Daxter, for a girl.

For example in Max Payne 2 there was Mona but was she so oversexual and were they always showing her boobs. No. And still it was hell of a good game.
I wonder what Doom3 would look with big boobs zombies -.- Wait. Flying boobs !

And stop whining about how people make games. They just want to get some money. If you don\'t like it, don\'t play it. Costs to make a game are getting higher all the time. No wonder people try to find more catchy ways to sell what they made.

This isn\'t only about the makers of the games. This is about our society. Everything is about sex and money and fun. Nobody cares about mental things. The plots in the games aren\'t so good but then they put female mainchar with big boobs in there and it sells more than it normally would. I kinda miss old times without importance of graphics.

However nothing changed in the anime part... It was always about sexy looking girls and feminine looking guys. Only that you couldn\'t see that when ff was 8 bit -.- (altho\' I still am not sure if White Mage was male or female...)

Well anime is anime. But games with anime don\'t have to look so sexy. In Sudeki the girls have almost nothing as \"armor\" and they are both damn good looking. So. Usually when there is something about sex in anime its usually kinda \"pantsu anime\" as I call it or it has humor in it explaining the sexuality. But games nowadays. Not funny. Not mostly anime. Lots of chicks with big boobs and few clothes. Errr..

Man, I would hate to be a game Dev \"Too much Violence\", \"Too much Sex\". I wonder if god gets any of these complaints :P

Bleh. But really. Does Bible tell or any holy book tell you to have too much sex or be too sexy. Or does it encourage you to violence. There may be something like Jihad but I think the guys have got it all wrong. I mean the message in tah book.
Now to tah point. (meh be leet jah)
This is about society and game developement. Why can\'t those guys start making games without all those boobs and stuff. I never expected driving game to corrupt into that thing but I have seen few with those tightly dressed girls .. bleh. Is sex becoming second god. Something to worship daily ? Since nothing else speaks to you you just go to have sex or drool after pixels.

In today\'s world sex and violence are part of our life. It\'s natural to include them into our entertainment.
What I am failing to understand in this thread is why you are complaining about them. I hear you saying they\'re bad, but why?
They don\'t make people go out and kill or shag the first female they see walking down the street and if you honestly believe that games can do that to a person you are very very naive.

Heh sex is always part of life, you are born from it, then you desire it, then you complain about it being refered to too much...then you die.
Cars+Sex will probably never be too far apart, so most racing games will have, if they don\'t already have, girls in tight clothes.
As for RPGs, well, you could argue that it adds a sense of romance to the game (beautiful princess + prince charming).
Anime on the other hand is...different...completely....I will not go there, not into the darkness of anime

hmm, i agree that some titles get out of hand.. such as BMX xXx. but games like FF i will hear NO ONE complain about... if you have somehting bad to sai about FF than STFU. cuz those are the BEST friggin games ever made.

5 yrs First cybersex games come. Addicts get killed :F
10 yrs People start acting on street like they would now in private room
20 yrs -> *walks on streer* Excuse me but can I have sex here right and now \"Sure!\"
50 yrs -> Destruction of mankind due AIDS or Stuff (Would be a nice thing since we humans are somehow useless race causing pretty much harm)
100 yrs -> Alien species with cure for cancer and stuff arrive to make us better beings but they realize we are all dead and curse.
101 yrs -> Aliens find our ancient cybersex games

You do know that we will evolve to become A sexual because males are no longer needed (just like finger nailes) Males used to protect the female but now they can vurtualy protect them selves. So we will slowly become A sexual.

Juh. Female start knowing kung fu and then there is no need to protect em. I know there was one theory about males no longer needed but didn\'t they say after it that males are still needed.. I mean the same guys. Or Stuff.

Yes our society started plummeting after the second world war. Everything is becoming more and more accepted.
Btw...I was affected by GTA...I\'d be in the car with my dad or something and I\'d get the sudden urge to take the steering wheel and change lane and speed through traffic going the other way for the buzz of it...

Ummm I dont really care what the char models look like in a game unless it starts getting out of hand. For example, laura croft gets bigger breasts after every TR release(i dont think a person with a tripleG bra can jump and flip). here i made a diagram
