It should be compulsory to see something like that before being able to create a new account :) it would prevent stupid n00bs like me to do stupid things as they usually do :D

Unless you prevent registration without first viewing this, nobody is gonna click it any more than they click sticky threads. So stickying it would be rather pointless. :P

Actualy Gronomist, the reason i posted it on the \"Newbie help forums.\" Is because i thought it might help lower the amount of threads such as \"WTF?!?!?!?!\" and \"I\'m so cool that i wont use the Search Button\".

Nice.  Too bad there is no way to force them to stay at their comps and watch it, should watching it become mandatory for forum registration.

Maybe not if you\'d tell them it\'s mandatory, or in fact tell them that it\'s coming up at all. :D
It\'s entertaining, therefore they might just watch it, because it\'s just as good as TV. I\'m not sure if the message will be taken seriously, thugh, because IMO the biggest problem is that ppl. always believe that they are the first ones to get the problem they have, which, of course, is wrong 99% of the time. But maybe it\'ll get rid of one or two such posts per week, so it\'s something. :)

Oh, and maybe we should modify the PS error messages to say: \"Search and read the solutions to this problem in the readonly-forum\" :D seriously, it should make absolutely clear that it doesn\'t mean \"post a message\".

Couldn\'t the devs make this video appear in subliminal images in PS ? This way everyone would see it :)

Armies upon armies of lawyers would be set loose upon them.  And really, do you really want that drilled forever into your consciousness?  I don\'t.... :P

maybe when a new member registered, they would have to view it before making any posts, this would make it manditory to watch, but they could of course walk away or minimize the window.

anyway i think it was funny, i liked it
