Title: What about baths?

Have you thought about getting baths in PS? Im talking about public baths like the roman, turkey and japanese. When you come home from your journey, you could go to the cities bath, get the latest rumors and clean/refresh yourself. Or a guild has its after battle meeting/recreation in it.
Maybe small inhouse baths for the richer houses.

Also i would like to have at least some toilets in houses or as those small buildings in the backyards. Ive always wondered why the cities dont have sanitary places in most MMORPGs. Its even more bizarre when they have a sewage system.

i hole hartedly agree but... how big are these baths like jacuzi size or like swiming pool size? because i have a feeling by the time the \"baths\" stage of development is reached it will be a very popular crouded game.

I disagree no sewage systme plz lets excrete on the floor or in a bucket like real people! - if krans do excrete...

they did im medievil times...

If we are going to have baths than lets have them done right. People need to stink, or have tension, or something that makes the bath more than just a pretty place to meet ladies. (he did say like the romans ;) )
I like the thought of stinking after a couple days, or even getting sick from improper hygene. Also you could use the bath to speed the healing process, or just as a place to meditate.

Too late, the sewers are already designed and modelled. Besides, this isn\'t the earth\'s medieval times. It\'s simply a medieval-like setting.

As for the baths... Sure, but they can wait. The more important features have to get in first, then we can start thinking about luxury items and such. Besides, to take the medieval setting, people aren\'t supposed to have baths unless they\'re very rich, and noone in PS is very rich. At least not yet. In a medieval setting, you would sit in a big bucket and have someone empty another bucket full of water on top of your head. That\'s how you shower. Then of course, there are the lakes and such. But for now, personal hygeine can wait.

Im not against a sewer, but i think there should be something which fills the sewers.
And for medieval times, it depends on where, in which region, you look. In middle east, in eastern asia they bathed.
But yeah they are not high priority, but its much easier to implementent them later, if you plan for them.

Bwahaha and people can have a strength and such penalty when they are around smelly people :P

Why not have your HP (Health Points) suffer from lack of ?cleaning? yourself like you contract diseases & poisons more easily from monsters & such?

The enki can clean themselves anywhere! :P

Interesting idea, personal hygeine to help combat contrating disease. The would be an interesting thing to see as long as it didn\'t require constant attention.
(ie don\'t make hygeine such an issue it becomes an irritation and burden)

Hygeine might be interesting in the sense of NPC reactions and possible event... if you don\'t wash you can\'t go to the feast or what not.

Anyone want to be a soap maker or dive for sponges?
