One year ago today, \'The Cabal\' a guild for Jerks, was formed. Over a very short period of time, that thread filled with over 100 posts, a record on the guild forum. Not much later, a second thread appeared, once more breaking the record with 150 posts. And once again, in the same month a third thread was made, filling with over 100 posts. We hold the record with having 250 posts in 1 thread.
In the guilds forum alone, there are:
A total of 17 Cabal based threads,
Containing a total of 2022 posts.
Alot of time has passed since that first post. We have changed from being a joke guild for jerks to the biggest, and best evil guild in the game(to be debated). Members have left us, and some have recently returned, including those who had \'gone for good\'. We were told we wouldn\'t survive the week, then we were told we wouldn\'t survive the month, but we have done more than that. We have survived the year, and flourished as a result.
With this year passing, we have reached a stage of development where we\'re starting to concentrate highly on the rp aspects of the game. We\'re all set to go into our fourth and final planned stage. All our people are planted, we\'re well known, our guild council now has four seats filled once more, and I think we\'ve done more than our share of advertising. We knew the time was ready when The Cabal recently made a guild vote to hereby discontinue our public campaign on these forums. Alot of changes have been made recently, most of them internal, but there have been some noticable changes, if you look at our site, externally in the last few days. The ranks page had been updated, and the first part of the guilds new history is in place.
With this final thread I wish good luck to all the other guilds out there, and I look forward to meeting some of you on the battlefield relativly soon. To everyone who still seems to act as if we\'re a one day old guild with no structure and no background, then let me see you do what we have done, and I might start to listen.

Everyone considered this guild a joke for Planeshift, even myself. A joke that was surely meant to disappear shortly after its creation.
But I was wrong, me and everyone else. Though, I must add that some people still consider it a joke, or make fun of it (Draklar for example with his 101 craps), but they\'re just jealous of you.
I was once in this guild, infiltrated to destroy you, but then I realised it\'s really impossible, because you can\'t turn friends against each other.
Time passed, and you grew up, becoming a \"solid\" guild of this realms.
Don\'t worry, many said BO wouldn\'t last a month, but is here since 2001. Some day, you will reach that age too, and beyond.

Yuh, I must agree with Annah... that people still consider it a joke... heck, there\'s no other thing we make so much fun of on #planeshift-guilds chan...
And pfft... i made so much more jokes about cabal since the 101 rules (PM me for full list of them :D).

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that you once were someone important, and now you\'re just a dark spot that must be cleaned from the PS community? It has something to do with the fact that you tried to destroy Cabal sooo many times, but you always failed? Ah ... and they\'re still here, and you\'re still a no one, hiding in an irc channel, saying you don\'t care of PS anymore, that is crap or other things, but you always come here to post ... isn\'t it a little ironic? ;)
Anyway my dear shiny knight, go play with your plastic swords and leave the cabal like they are ...
Mogura - I think you should close this thread before it will be full of flames.
EDIT - Drak, meanwhile while idling in your channel, maybe you should make some free time and think at this - \"You can\'t change who people are without destroying who they were.\"

This thread should get deleted (Cabal isn\'t allowed to have threads as we all remember)
Mogura can do very little about it, not being mod in here and all :rolleyes:

cabal where once good but brown noser xordan aint the right guy to keep it going auran kept it running strong and now its starting to stink like stale fish
and on a side note cabal dont have the most members since they dont bother to delete inactive ones....just like annah did with bo :D
and a furter note much like the other cabal threads the more you post the more known it becomes...so im not posting anymore on this thread as per useuall

And what do you have with Xordan? And please keep your personal opinions to yourself. Don\'t you guys see?! You\'re always trying to revive old myths, old idiot things only you care. You tried with me, you\'re trying with the Cabal, you\'re trying with everyone you hate.
Let me remind you, YOU doesn\'t mean the whole Planeshift community ok? This is a dynamic community, people always come and go, things are always forgotten. But noo ... you always try to remind everyone who I am, what cabal is and stuff. Grow up ...
About the inactivity, I will keep my mouth shut regarding some aspects of your guild, because we\'re allies (remember you\'re allied with Yarulion, not with me).
In the end, let these kids play in here, we can take our ancient fights somewhere else.
Tip: Do like Draklar, and as I did to him. Put me on ignore. ok?

You know, I have to agree with Annah here. You all laugh and snicker, but who is it that actually makes Planeshift at least a little more interesting to play?
The Cabal.
A few words:
Looking at Xordan\'s sig, it does *not* say Blood Lord. The Blood Lord is the leader of the cabal, right? Well, it says corruptor on his sig, their 8th rank.
Annah, are you officially taking part in the Carceri alliance?

Well yhey are a big guild and I have nothing against them but I have no intentions to ally with them. (the mm is going to be ally less for now)
