Title: New guilds ? Round 2
Post by: Kada-El on September 19, 2004, 12:28:06 am: With some promising newcomers arriving on the scene, I think it?s about time we had another round of voting for the next guild to be included on the tavern (http://tavern.blueglyph.net/index.php) guild list.
Once again, I have decided against a ?none of the above? option as it?s an easy way out for the jaded among us and it doesn?t help in any way :P There are some good new guilds out there, but if you don?t like any of the options then feel free not to vote at all.

As always guilds without a website will not feature and the same applies to those new guilds which now appear to be inactive.

Note: you must be registered at the tavern to vote.

Also this is the last call for members of the Assassins Guild to come forward. I?m sad to say that due to inactivity they will be moved to the graveyard if activity remains dormant. If active in CB then you will be returned to the list ? but at the bottom of the list.
This is also a warning for the Kezuke Clan ? your guild is next for the chop unless you prove to be alive!

Ah I cant belive hv is being beaten by a guild that new....
My guild has been around for three mos and where still not on that list.:P I was going to make a new hv thread cuz I changed a lot of stuff and not only the name but the MM thread is still up there :(

Take notice on how he did it...very well made except for the amount of spelling mistakes ^^. Image both in material and character are very important, try and build up your guild in the correct manner and perhaps you shall finally be allowed the chance to rid yourself of past reputation..that I am guessing you don\'t like.

We did have more people, people knew mm not hv though :P, I play the game about three times a week, id say im pretty active
Im still not going to say that we MUST go up there. Laqst time I was a good sport and I always will be. (heck, Im the one who said for the cortie to go on the list and look what happend, we would have been up already) :)

He\'s the brain behind numerous ideas ranging from the Coterie de dernier cri to various interesting and original ideas in the wishlist forum. You should read some of his stuff sometime.
He\'s kinda like Golbez in that he\'s sometimes regarded as one of the best writers in the Planeshift Community.

It won\'t :)

The previous hosting company had two kinds of servers, one for \"professional\" hosting, and another one for free/cheap hosting. We started with the latter for our guild forums and they were hacked down, so they refunded the little that was paid and offered a free account on the former. Which went down a few months later (together with the tavern and OI forums), despite all their attemps to stabilise their system. I\'m not sure they really knew what they were doing ;)

They haven\'t recovered yet, I doubt they ever will. And I love backups.

The new host is totally different, the guy who manages it is a professional and has done that for a few years already, don\'t worry.

Don\'t worry, it can\'t be long now :)

Everyone should be given a chance to participate to the poll, and in this period many people can\'t make it easily to the forums, it\'s just a difficult time of the year. Until now, 36 people have voted (41/50/48 for previous polls), and even if the results seem to be obvious, it\'s probably better to let it up for the rest of the weekend.

Almost there, patience :)
