Title: Internet Deprivation
Post by: Kuiper7986 on September 23, 2004, 08:11:48 pm: Okay here was an interesting post, there was a test that was conducted by Yahoo and they found out that like 90% of the people couldn\'t even fuction without their internet activities and others couldn\'t do daily activities like pay bills, book airplane flights or hotels, and such...

I guess it just shows how reliant we are on the internet. I mean whose to say how the internet will change tomorrow or the day after or the day after that.

Anyways about me, I\'d go crazy without two days of using the internet. Hehe I guess I wouldn\'t last a very long time if the world plummeted into another dark age. Or a power outtage for that matter.

Post by: XpYtZ on September 23, 2004, 09:42:15 pm: I only use the internet to for little things like games, PS (not really a game to me, more an additction), programming, Email, Weather, News, Chatting, Working with my editors, as a dictionary, as an Atlas, to view satelite photos of my house :), hmmm. Yea, where would I be without all that.
No wait, I would be spending time with my family and getting my school work done on time.
The Internet and World Wide Web are great arn\'t they. :D

*wonders who is dumb enough to pay bills or check their credit on the I-net*

The internet is a crutch used by people lacking a quality or two. All of technology is a crutch, but I don\'t believe in taking the easy way out most times.
