Title: Alliance Thread
Post by: Myrtl on September 25, 2004, 07:55:53 pm
The Knights templar are looking for an alliance with other guilds. If you are interested please pm me on the PS forums. Not looking for an alliance with evil guilds though :)

Please only post things that are related to this topic. Thank you.

I don\'t want to sound rude or anything kido, but I don\'t think this is the best way to make an ally. First of all, an ally means someone in who you can trust, means someone that shares the same beliefs as you, and of course, an alliance means new FRIENDS and helping each others. You just can\'t go post on ebay that you\'re looking for an ally. Try to \"evaluate the market\" first, write down some intersting guilds, make some research about their members (or at least their leaders) and then contact them.
I think this is all, the rest is up to you, Good Luck.

I agree with Annah on that one. If you deem a guild worthy of becoming your ally, approach them directly. Have a look at e.g. Kada\'s tavern and learn about the other guilds\' beliefs and intentions. Then choose. You might also want to consider already existant alliances between those other guilds. Some of them might not be known which adds an interesting factor to the \"who with who against whom\". :)

Right, It usually doesn\'t work to come up to random people and yell, \"Who want\'s to be my friend?\" You might get someone, but it would be much more effective to search around, find guilds that don\'t have comflicting beliefs (click here (http://tavern.blueglyph.net/modules.php?name=Guilds) for an updated list), and talk to them. Build friendships, and then, just maybe, you will be able to form an alliance.

Good luck. A good place to start would be Mirth (http://mirthsite.tk/), Defenders (http://defenders.rr.nu/), or possibly The Blitzers (http://blitzers.dyndns.org/).

yup, these experienced dudes are right, your better off joining an alliance that\'s already been formed.
