How do i buy weaps and stuff i saw something about links that merchant thing what do i do?

First you have to collect enough crystals, 500 for the cheapest. Then go to http://planeshift.fragnetics.com/merchant/merchant.html and buy an item.
BUT BEFORE THAT - READ THE STICKY TOPICS!!!

Firstly, you change your name to something more suitable for a roleplaying game. :) Then you wait for a version of the game that actually HAS buyable houses.

It\'s not suitable for a Role-Playing game. That\'s not a name - that\'s a title, or a nickname, etc. You need (preferably) an actual fantasy-like name. It\'s not a tough concept to grasp ;)

Well if I met someone on the street and asked their name, and they said something stupid like \"LEETD00D4325\" or \"GamezPwnlolol!!11/\", I\'d chase them down the road with my magical stick of Reality. Names like this are totally unacceptable in PlaneShift.

what Moogie means in general terms is you need a name like bob or monktaren or  a fantasy game name with NO numbers or funny symbols, cussing. rascial abusive or evil name like f\'er546+24<>& or some thing like that is a bad name  :]

yeah it\'s not an rp\'ing name but you can morph it into an rp\'ing name if you can\'t think of any like...

Also, I would save my crystals if I were you. You will need them in the next release when they all become real money and weapons can be used to attack things.
...Better yet, read that whole post. You may get something out of it. :)
