So its been in the making for quite sometime now, the next step in Xperto. Thanks to Seperot *bows* for the push out the door and FireofSoul for help with forum and site. Through the rise and fall of Xperto, thy guild has a history other then its first creation. We come again to you as \"Rebirth\" -Death to save life

By that very speech the time for \"Rebirth\" was upon us, warriors of old shall arise once more to finish what has been started.. Innocence shall be protected..enemies shall be slaughtered. The righteous will hold back what lurks into the beyond, and push it even farther below! The time of reckoning is here and now..let it be heard!

We are a Chaotic Good allignment, we stand firm by our beliefs.
Our goals -\"Destroy Evil at whatever costs\"

Our enemies consist of anyone under a \"Evil\" status, we shall not just go naming guilds..you already know who you are.
Levels of Hierarchy
Leader -- Has divine right of power over everyone in the guild. The Leader will always have the final word in any action taken by the guild. (If I DepthBlade am inconvenienced by PlaneShift and further more decide to remove myself, my divine right of power shall be passed to my choosing.)
Battle Roys -- After much difficulty placing trust into a ViceLeader, the position has been modified. Battle Roy\'s act as superior tactical commanders, with many leader qualities these men or women shall be depended on upholding the ranks and providing them with orders brought down to them by the Leader. They will be responsible for keeping moral high and disloyality low.
Ire -- High protectors of the Leader. They not only defend the Leader but they are responsible for any current news involving attacks on the guild. In any major battle these warriors will be the last line of defense between the Leader and the enemy.
Raven -- Are heavily armored fighters, they are the tanks of the guild. In battle these men or women will prove to be the stall breakers, pushing forward and overpowering the enemies greatest fighters shall be their tasks.
Kamikaze -- Once known to be a rank for new members, now evolved to a respectable rank. Kamikazes have become known as the basic fighters of the guild. They are neither offense or defense, they have become the main force of infantry in the guild army. One thing has not changed, Kamikaze\'s are to be more then willing to sacrifice their lives to gain advantage in the guild\'s cause. (Death does not mean removal, reincarnation is immenent.)
Dueler -- Dueler\'s are our independant fighters who choose to use their exceptional skill in battle, in a more respectable way. Fighting one on one battles against fellow warriors of good, evil, or neutral for prize, allignment or honor. They are representitive of everything we are as a guild, though they are independant fighters they will be called upon for other duties that could involve joint efforts.
Exon -- A Exon is a economist, they do not necessarily have to fight in any battles but would be expected to gather and collect in anyway possible for the guild. They will aid the guild with equipment, food and currency. Battle Roy\'s will be responsible for dividing the gathered resources throughout the guild.
Apprentice -- Once you have completed your recruitment time limit you will be transfered to Apprentice, here you shall pick your future within the guild. Apprentices will not be rushed to choose rank. (In chance of emergency call to arms, Apprentices will be forced to uphold Kamikaze rank until situation has ended.)
New Recruit -- New members that wish to join will be put through a time trial, that will test their activeness, loyality and how bad they want to be in the guild. Time trial will last anywhere from 1-2 weeks.

If you want to join contact me upon these forums or upon our forums on our website. (I.Ps will be recorded and logged for all members joining.) We aren\'t looking for floaters who sign up and never show their faces, dedication is a virtue I adore.
Fighting in small numbers will come to our advantage. We are not looking to create a huge guild, friendship and trust is what we hope you gain from joining us..and a greater sense of adventure. :)

Also I really would like to point out the Dueler\'s Rank:

We really will be putting alot of work into these people, our Exons (Gatherers) will be spending alot of resources arming these men and women to the max and training them for fights.
On our forum we have seperate boards for each Rank, and for the Duelers there will be a Dueler\'s Circle and unlike the rest this board will be open to all freelancers and members of this community who plan to make one on one dueling there life on PlaneShift.
Duels will also be recorded on a seperate page on the website and matchs can also be requested and set dates can be made. This will all be put in further once the release is open to us and whenever if ever dueling gets initiated.
If dueling PVP doesn\'t get put in, there will still be Duelers but against enemy NPCs. Recording one on one defeats against bosses and other strong monsters or villians.

I was kinda guessing it was a matter of time ;). I must say \"nicelly done\" because it seems you have improved alot. May Rebirth last longer than Xperto. Though I doubt greatly that you will have much success ;) You won\'t ever defeat all evil.

Hey Depth, this is good! I must say that contrary to a lot of other people here, I didn\'t see this coming. On the other hand, now that I think about it, you never did quite fit in with any other guild you joined. Good luck!

Yes, I am happy too to find that there are Good guilds who aren\'t afraid to wage war without being provoked first. It will be a honor if we ever fight each other.
Though as much as I appreciate your ways of fighting Evil I see them as worthless as the others, since warfare alone won\'t achieve your goal.
Having a short temper means having less time to plan wisely.

All in all thats my opinion.
It angers me that you do not fight but on the other hand your a friend and your guild is a friend so I would hold no grudge against you guys. If it ever came to the point where my friends needed help all disputes aside I would send help.

Not much is known about my early begginings. My earliest memories are of my teenage years.
I was living in the woods above a small village and I was alone. I knew nothing then but bloodlust,
the will to survive and the name that the scared little villagers called me, \"Boldstorm\".
It was one dark stormy night that my life came to change. Out of the darkness came torches and the glint
of steel from every direction. It seems that the villagers had finally had enough of me terrorizing their
village. I fought and killed several of them that night, but there were just too many. At that time I had
a new feeling inside me I had never known before, FEAR! I ran and ran, not paying attention to where I
was heading nor caring. I ran for days it seemed, I ran until my body failed me. That\'s when I passed out.
Several days later, or so I am told, I came back to the world of the living. It was a small voice calling out,
\"Avokk, wake up Avokk.\". I looked around confused to find a small girl speaking to me in a toungue I barely
understood. I looked for a weapon or anything to kill what I felt like was a vile little creature, but something
about the look in her eyes stopped me. She was staring at me with tear filled eyes like she knew me.
I tried to get up but it seems I had taken on too many wounds in my fight with the village. Finally, after what
seemed like days a few men came in to visit me. They started asking me questions that I had no answer for, \"Where have you been?\"
\"What happened to you?\", and the whole time I kept hearing this strange name, Avokk. After many hours of this conversation
I finally started to understand. As a child I had grown up in this new village. During a bloody battle I had been taken
as a slave. Somehow I must have escaped and spent the next several years living like an animal in the forests of the world.
In the past few weeks I had experienced several new feelings that i didn\'t know even existed. The worst one was regret,
regret for the evil acts I had done to that small village. After battleing my new feelings for a long time I finally new
what must be done. I must fight all evils, I must right my wrongs.
Now with a past, now with a purpose, now with a name, Avokk Thrall!
My sword and my strength now stand at the disposal of Rebirth.

Background: Kenshinobi was a loner kid, he was abandoned in some small little village in the mountains, the people there were very primitive, but they had some nifty healin powers!! So they taught the little baby how to be \"in tune\" with nature and heal others..
kenshinobi got his name from an old broken sword he found while he was doing errands in the forest for the villagers.. and etched into the blade he found was written \"Ken Shinobi\".. since he didnt know how to read very well he asked the high elder of the town what it said.. and so he told him.
Kenshinobi was very proud of his name, because most of the other villagers were so simple they didnt have names, so he was very proud and sometimes arrogant about it. One day an elderly cloaked man passed through the village in a small horse drawn cart, and kenshinobi, in his arrogance decided he was too good for the village, and wanted to escape so he hid on the cart and left his village.
When the cloaked stranger discovered kenshinobi hiding in his cart, he saw the massive potential in the child\'s healing ability and trained him in the way of the healing arts. 2 years to the day, kenshinobi\'s old master was murdered senselessly by a bandit from the village he grew up in. In his madness, ken used his power against the bandit, slaying him in a frenzy of hatred, anger, blood and fury. Things were always different after that.. ken felt it his sworn duty to hunt out evil and tyrrany (*ahem*\"cough\".. Cabal) wherever he found it, and in his best interests he joined forces with the Rebirth clan.. who shared his interest in slaying all evil, so that he can use his excellent massive abilities to help his clan members in the task of purging the world clean of evil :]
and there we go.. god damn that took effort.. :))

The count is 6 including myself :) All of which have proven quite active..unlike my past I am not forced to keep reminding them to post on the forums and go in-game. There dedication to make this guild great is more then I can express with words.

Just some more news to report....
I have officially accepted my new role in Rebirth as Raven.
I would also like to welcome with much pleasure our newest member to Rebirth, Moogie Darkstorm. Moogie will be claiming the position of Ire and as a greatly respected healer will aid us mightly in our struggles against evil.
O.T. The new site is up and besides a few small things like converting everything over to php and a few small additions I am planning everything should be good :D

Yup, it happened yesterday... while Sep was asleep, obviously.
I\'ve joined the ReBirth because I believe it to be a cause worth fighting for. They may be enemies to my beloved... but... I cannot deny my calling. I wish no harm to come to my Seppie, but to face him is not what I have come here for.
I share Depthblade\'s desire to rid the world of evil at all costs, but the teachings of Aliathi restrict me from directly bringing harm to any living soul. Thus I will lend my aid to those who go out and risk their lives in the name of Good; it is all I can do.
I thank everyone for the warm welcome... I just hope Seppie isn\'t too mad... :(

Heh remember on IRC where I made a bunch of plans....you see how easy it would be for me, all I would have had to do is get the blitzers to ally with IT...a hard task yet, not completely impossible :P
Anyways, don\'t worry, I don\'t plan to interfere with the evil kill good good kill evil stuff over much, besides the selling of weapons to both sides :D

Looks like the host for the site might be down yet again. I\'ve been trying to get to the site (ours or the hosts) and keep getting nothing. So hopefully in the next few days, I am really busy with work right now :( , I will be either moving everything or at least make a mirror site of Rebirth at http://rebirth.project2one.net (http://rebirth.project2one.net). There is a slightly older version of the site up there already so I will try as soon as I get some time to get both sites updated to the same point. This way hopefully even if ifreepages keeps dropping the site will still be up.
Sorry for anyones inconvienence and I swear as soon as I get some free time I\'ll try and get this straightened out.

Ok I would just like to send out an apology for me not getting anything done with the site. I have been stuck working on a few major projects at work and haven\'t had a chance to get hardly anything done. The forums at rebirth seem pretty much dead. You can view them and the posts but can\'t post or anything like that. I already have a new forum set up but haven\'t had time to finish getting it configured. I have to just finish that up and finish converting about 5 more pages For the new databases and then the site should be all good again. Really for stability purposes all of this is going to live at http://rebirth.project2one.net as soon as I get it finished (Hopefully by tonight :( ). http://rebirth.ifreepages.com will also still exist and both pages should update at the exact time so don\'t worry about that one. The only thing that looks like will be a major change is the forums are going to be completly redone. Again sorry for the delay in everything but everything should be back to normal again within 24 hours.
Well enough rambling I have to get back to work lol.

Ok I am completly stumped lol. I was gone for the weekend and was planning on getting all the stuff transfered to the new site and finish setting up the forums on the new site tonight.
Well I get back to find out everything on the old site including the forums are working correctly again so go figure. Guess a little time off was all it needed ?(

Well, maybe I\'m wrong, BUT ASFAIK being chaotic good, doesn\'t mean being deaf, and running into an open knife is actually deaf. I just want to say: Do one thing after another. You will be much more succesful if you take out all evil guilds over a long time, than trying to make that in a short time. You\'d loose.

my answer: no.
example: If your fight\'s are going to take place in settled places, what do you think would your enemies do to normal people, that get inbetween the fight (if you cannot imagine --> They will slaughter them, hey, they are evil.) and then I will try to heal those who survived (won\'t be many).
Mabe try some Guerilla war.
And I won\'t join an evil guild because i\'ll also play a good char, I just wanted to prevent you running into a knife, but I can\'t do anything other than giving you advices.
p.s.:I\'m playing P&P - RP for more than four years, and if there is one thing i\'ve learned, it is that things aren\'t just black or white and nothing\'s just black or just white, and before I\'ll get into real trouble I\'ll shut up

The way I have planned is the way we shall do things, and nothing is concrete we might just randomly change tactics to benefit us in our goal of victory over \"Evil\". We are Chaotic Good and war is the way we settle things. Our goals are for the good but our tactics might not be..thats why we are Chaotic Good. Some may say Chaotic Good sucks..but I say \"I am not going to listen no matter what they say!\" -Chaotic Good :P

You\'ve got to be kidding. You can\'t condemn \"war\" as evil, no matter what. I can list countless of scenarios when war is a good thing.
1) Slaves under oppression. They decide to revolt against the tyrant and win their freedom. Is that... evil? To want to live in freedom and peace, and to do something about it?
2) Invasion of barbarians. Your home is under attack. Do you sit there and watch it burn? Or do you go out and fight? Is that evil? To protect your home?
3)You have been treated unjustly. Someone has robbed you, and a large group is defending the thief. Do you sit there and let him get away with it? Or do you gather your friends and bring justice?
See, war is not evil, it is only evil when it has evil intentions. Rebirth\'s goal is to destroy evil, to win freedom from the tyrants. How is that evil? It\'s not. In fact, I would even go as far as to say that the chaotic could be removed and have Rebirth as a \"good\" guild.

After reading most of the threads I can tell you\'re pretty serious about it being a good guild. However, I\'m seeing that it\'s more neutral than chaotic. It seems to be built into the mission statement. It would seem that chaotic good is more random. For instance, you would right wrongs when you see it instead of it being a main thrust. I would think it would be more of a random act of goodness thing.
I think a classic example of this was I was reading a little blurb that moogie wrote stating that she had randomly married some guy without telling him about it. That seems pretty chaotic to me. And the guild might be better going on that thought to hit the chaotic level you\'re looking for.

See, that\'s what happens if you remain closed-minded (in this case thinking war is good because you\'re on the \"good team\", and they\'re on the \"bad team\"). You treat things with disbelief.
Of course war is evil. Just by deffinition, evil is \"that which causes harm or destruction or misfortune\". But should the assumption be it is wrong to fight wars? See, here\'s the funny part, because that\'s closed-mindness as well. \'Evil\' does not equal \'wrong\'.
But some do not consider war as evil, and set their own deffinitions of \"evil\". It usually means then something along lines of \"Intention to harm others\". And two problems begin here:
1) You rarely can be sure what one\'s intentions are.
2) Intentions do not harm by themselves, thus can not be evil (only actions can). \"Evil intentions\" is just short for \"Intentions to do evil\".
Combined together it makes it wrong to fight someone for the assumed intentions as a form of fighting evil.
There\'s also another problem caused by fanatism. People would be considered evil just for criticizing one\'s ways or, for example, standing in defense of husband who happens to be a thief.
But would that thief be evil in the first place? What if he steals from rich to make sure his family wouldn\'t starve?
Wouldn\'t that be chaotic-good? Just like Robin Hood stole from rich to help the poor.
Alignments are another thing because thief could not be considered chaotic-evil as long as he doesn\'t steal just for the suffering of others.
He would be hunted down because of doing \"unjust\" thing. But so would be killing him.
One could say killing is giving lesson for stealing. But what if money he stole, belonged to a guy who got them thanks to corruption? Wouldn\'t that be giving a lesson as well?
Of course that\'s lots of thinking before one could consider something \"evil\". Thus it ends up in hunting down those who just might be evil. It\'s much easier.
All in all fighting evil is just turning away attention from what really should be fought: corruption, greed, falsehood...
To end my rant, I\'d like to say once again:
If you\'re good - fight for what you love, not against what you hate.
I won\'t stand in defense of my opinions, this is just for self consideration.

If you\'re good - fight for what you love, not against what you hate.

I can see what you are saying though. It does depend on what a person\'s definition of evil is, but my former statements are what I believe.

My character is one that will only do what he wants to do only those within the guild are listened to and maybe a few close friends that I have spent alot of time talking to (They know who they are). Whether you all say I am something other then Chaotic Good, I claim only to be Chaotic Good...this is permanent until the guild and my character evolves for its last time in the future.
I am what I want to be, and not what you say I am. I do what I want to do, not what you want me to. I think how I want to think, not just what you think. My character is his own person and shall not be influenced by so called knowledged members of this community trying to spread their made up versions what things really are. Indepedant upon my own thoughts...thats what I am.

An example: A pladin thinks that prostetutes are evil, and must be cleansed of the world. In his own\'s eyes he is doing the world a favor, but others may think he\'s evil.
Another example: In the future, a good king turns into an evil conqueror, and destrois the world. A man travels back trough time, to kill the king before he coul lead the world into appocalypse. The man isn\'t evil, he is good. But the people would call him a devil, because he killed their beloved king.

Calm down people. We all know how alignment discussions lead to nowhere ^^. Alignments are simply references. Some use them better than others, but that\'s just innevitable :P.

Well Sangwa simplicity is better then anything when it comes to what we are about. :) Like I have said in the past and Sangwa hits it right on the dot, we are simple..we have no secrets..you know what we are about..at this stage in the guild there is only to be war and more war. Powerful we are and powerless we aren\'t. Our numbers grow fast as word of our cause spreads...sky is the limit for us..Our falls will only make us stronger..and we will probally have many but that is the price for glory sometimes..
Oh and to announce Ilyena promotion to Dueler\'s rank and joining the Dueler\'s Circle. First one to choose it, congrats.

Exactly like Ilyena said, let them play their role, it\'s as \"right\" as any other role. And they (up until now at least) have been playing it very well.

The league is not apart of Rebirth in the sense that we own it or anything, we just have a specific rank that will contend in the league...others can and I might possible change the Rebirth rank as Dueler to a sub rank.
Hopefully with the help of a few other people we can set up a system to organize tournaments and a house league. That way perhaps we can keep up to date to the most deadly player in-game. This will range from magic duels to melee duels and so on and so forth.
I will write down the names now and if you still are interested when CB is released and we get more into the depth of the game and are ready to start it up..I will msg you.
Seperot- You inspired me to bring back my guild by your guilds actions, but that does not make you my master..I will choke the life out of you with those strings you hope to control me with :P
OOC: You do have my respect out of character for inspiring me to come back with a guild..but still you didn\'t build it up.
