Title: Creating 3d objects in Blender (help me)
Post by: WiseKran on September 29, 2004, 11:41:48 pm
Hi i just got blender, and after a painstakingly long learning period, and many tutorials i was able to create a simple castle.

thats the render...

if you notice the brick texture i applied, it looks kinda shiny whith the light on it.. how do i make it look less shiny?

im trying to make a scene that looks like daylight. even lighting. that is bright and sunny, but not EXTREMELY light

oh and i cant figure out how to make natural looking even lighting, not just a small lamp.

does anyone have any answers?

ive tryied changing the lamp to \"sun\" but that is WAY to bright and makes everyting white.

please do not hesitake to tell me EVERYTHING you know about thses things
thank you!

I\'m actually useless when it comes to blender but from memory you need to change the lumonosity of the material.

no offense, but luminosity should have nothing to do with it, you\'re using 2.3x right? anyway\'s, adjust the spec (ularity) and hard (ness)

sorry, forgot to check the date, blender was the first 3d modeling program I ever used, so I picked it up in a few hours. I am now working on a flying game, with a menu (thats big for a blender game) two or three flyable objects, (birds or planes, haven\'t decided) and about ten different landscapes, but I need to learn python

BTW, got a gmail invite? email is arune@seeqmail.com, help on getting one would be appreciated
