I regret to tell you all that i may be disbanding the champion\'s of yliakum due to rumors and propaganda spred by the secuttus o malum we have hit hard time\'s,
many member\'s lost, site in ruin\'s and name shamed.
I have tryed very hard to turn thing\'s around but am fighting a losing battle it may not be the end but it seems that way at the moment. I would like to thank all that have belived and helped along the may the defender\'s, mirth and kada-el as well as many other\'s gave greet help and support since the birth of the champion\'s.
If we do disband it will not be forever i can garantee the champion\'s will return some time in the future stronger and greater than ever. I will try to continue but with working full time doing part time at college and learning to drive i have less timw than ever to devote to the guild yet it is at this time it need\'s more than ever. I hope we will remain a part of this community i can only try.

Always sad to see a guild disband because people take things too far. Your guild should be a place where friends can talk and enjoy the game together and share ideas and thoughts and tales. In my opinion, guilds are all about friendship and unity, IC or OOC, and they shouldn\'t be ruined by outside groups of lamers.
I think you should stick together, no matter what. Nothing is physically able to force you to disband, so you should utterly refuse it in the face of any trouble. If your people are willing to stick with it, then you should not let them down. Ever. Because they are your friends, and they as a guild rely on you. Who cares what a few of pre-teens on a powertrip are saying or doing? They have absolutely >ZERO< influence on anything. Forget about them- your guild is about you, your members, and your FUN. And the sooner you realise that, the sooner you can just start enjoying yourself.

Sorry to see you guys go :( I really thought you where going to be big. Could give us a little more info on what the sectus o malum did though?

Why disband?? You will regret it...merge for the greater good, Rebirth would welcome all Good aslong as it conforms with being Chaotic Good :)

i guess im sorry to see you guys go (but i never really payed much attention to you guys, or any of the other older guilds from before my time). but i do hope you come back cuz i can tell from everyone else\'s remarks you guys are pretty cool.

A bunch of idiots or perhaps one idiot is all it took to drive the Legendary Warriors Guild of old off the edge and down the cliff. I will not let a fool destroy my guild with negative publicity. Do not let a group of fools destroy yours. How much can they truly hurt you if you do not let them?
Find where these guys are, who they are, and slaughter them. Make sure they never get looked at with an ounce of respect again.

Your guild is as strong as the bonds of friendship holding it together. Or the bueracracy gluing it together. But this is Planeshift, so it is probably the former.
You shouldn\'t let just rumors have such a negative impact on your guild. Especially with allies like Mirth and Defenders.

Bah, I won\'t let you quit without being trully defeated Vanderbal. Rumours and propaganda are vain, they shouldn\'t be able to tear you down. Besides that if there is something wrong with your guild (members, crappy site, whatever) fight to make it better and even if your fight can\'t keep your guild alive, at least you will have achieved honour for trying.
I offer you my help; a good friend is hard to find, as is a respectful enemy.

Thank you all for the encouraging word\'s i am trying my best to fight through this rough patch and all the support i have resived is realy helping. I have a new site in the makeing and i am prepareing for one last shot at repairing what the Secuutus o Malum have damaged so greatly. Shortly there wil be a new site and surge for new recruit\'s to try and return the champions to our former glory but i am afraid if this fail\'s it will be the end. Not forever but at least for the mean time.

Aye now you see? Do you understand now that you cannot just sit back and let things happen..you must take action. Only after a guild takes a hit did you realize what you are really dealing with...shame shame. Hopefully you won\'t make the same mistake again...or maybe it will be your guild taking the plunge :P

Anyway, you know Mirth\'s position on violence. It has not changed, nor will it. Mirth has done as little as any other good guild of late to stop the spread of evil, and we now reap our reward. Non-violence can prevail without your reckless use of force, but it must have those who are willing to fight with the weapons of kindness, generosity, and laughter. Lately, that has been lacking.
OOC: Darn school, making me inactive.. :P
Please don\'t go OT on this.. It\'s not our thread to spam.. 8)
EDIT: My point being that using non-violence to combat evil still requires action. That has not been happening as it should.
OOC: Lol, it\'s sort of hard to get back in-character after a few weeks.. :D

hmm... maybe I\'d say you\'re right... if I\'d meet at least one person besides Depth who\'s agressive against evil... so far all people I meet here want to fight evil with non-violence... and you say that has been lacking? Check Depth\'s thread about uniting for Talad\'s sake! :P
