Title: Suse Linux Help!!!

I extracted all the files into a folder now i cant get anything to launch please help!!!

p.s. i am fairly new to linux so i don\'t know all the commands yet!

I read through the Linux How To and i still lost if someone can take me step by step through it. That would help. i am aim right now and my sn is D1etaryFiber

At first i thought it was a doublepost.. eehhh... back to topic *cough*

Did you download the binaries from the website? If that\'s the case you will most likely have a lot of trouble, like many people before. Better get the files from CVS.

Just follow the steps and you should be fine. Dunno if it\'s easier to understand for you, but I made my own guide here: http://www.freewebtown.com/alchemylab/

If you need further help or you are really not knowing what it\'s talking about we can do this much more in detail here or on irc.

For this get X-Chat (should be included in SUSE) with yast and log on to quakenet (select that in the server list) and join #planeshift.

I\'ve gotten it to work on Suse 9.1.  Never fear it can work.  You will have to do some work to make it happen though.  One thing I found useful was the acraig guide that is linked on this thread.  The thing that worked for me in the guide was using \"make -k all\" instead of using jam.

um... i need someone to run me thought this because i am restarted and neither of those made any since at all.. i am on aim D1etaryfiber
