Everytime i start something that has to do with Planeshift (The game itself, Playersguide, Update) I get this error:
FIREFOX.EXE - Entrypoint not found
------------
Cannot find the entrypoint of procedure HrLanConnectionNameFromGuidOrPath in DLL -file netman.dll
I don\'t have a clue what to do.
Could Someone please help me?

It\'s odd that you get this when starting even the game itself. I\'d say, first try re-installing firefox (grab the most recent version off their site), and if that doesn\'t work, try uninstalling firefox. Beyond trying those couple things this is way over my head. Sorry.

Thx for the welcome.
I\'ve updated Firefox, but it didn\'t work.
Further, I stumbled upon another problem. I made myself a Character (Ithak), connected to the server, got to the \"Initializing World\" part and because i knew it could take some time on your first try, so I l let it do its work. But after a few moment, the screen turned black, and the program ended...

These are errors I\'ve never seen before... my best advice is to wait for the next version, Crystal Blue, which is radically different from the current MB code and may help your problem. CB is very close now, Closed testing Phase 2 has started and when that finishes, it will be only a matter of packing up the release for the players (hopefully)

Some more info I found out about the Errors:
On the first error, for a few seconds, I also get an MS-DOS window saying \"no CEL variable set
Using alternative 3D driver\"
and some other things, but they appear/disappear to fast to read.
On my second attempt to connect to the server, the same thing happened, together with this error message:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
---------------
Program: ... Users\\Apllication Data\\LiveSixthRemoteOne\\Four Draw.exe
R6028
- unable to initialize heap
And yes, I don\'t know what to do with that either...

These errors don\'t seem related to planeshift at all.. the only thing I can think of is that you downloaded a corrupted version of planeshift and that is causing it to impinge on other programs\' memory space.

Ok, I\'ll download the game again and try again from there, thx for the time
-
I suggest you don\'t... since CB is very close and you will just have redownload a client very soon anyways.
-
Well, too bad it didn\'t work anyway.
Does anyone know how long it wil take for CB to come out? A week? A month? People keep saying *soon*...
-
You can try this:
Go to your PlaneShift folder. Copy Netman.dll and make a back up of it.
Now go to C:\\Windows\\Sytem32 and copy that Netman.dll file. Paste it in the PlaneShift folder and overwrite the current Netman.dll file (Make sure you have this file backed up).
Or rename/remove the netman.dll file in your ps folder. Either should work afaik.
When CB will be out? Well, ... soon ;)

Thx Thx Thx! You solved my first problem! :D
But the second stil remains :(
Does anyone know what to do about that one? Or what \"Four Draw\" is? \'cause this is the first time I\'ve ever heard of it...

The problems are solved, and I\'ve had my first look on the game. It really rocks :D
