I agree with elmundo but that should apply for the GAME not the demo

The demo is just so that we see how they are proggressing and so that we can (finally) say that we have played PLANESHIFT!!!!! :)

well thats not to long to have a go at this great game and i am glad its not out this week i have exams and i would not have the time to play

Perhaps feburary, while we have done alot we still have mountains of work to do and its still debatable whether it is stable, secure and complete enough for the public to see. We are sure many people will be making judgements on the game based on this demo and so far so little of the complete game has been created. I for one would like a few more months to give the 3d department time to polish up and create more models so the levels dont look so plain.

we\'ll work as hard as we can Kade-el... :) there might not be many other girls that want a demo of a computergame for their birthday (or for valentine\'s day)  :D

LOL, thanks Thekkur. There are more of us out there than you might think  :)   Word of PS will get around and the girls will show how it\'s really done  ;)

I think it would make a great birthday and Valentine\'s gift, but I don\'t mind if you want to send me flowers and chocolates as well, if you want to be more traditional :D  lol

i think it should come out whenever you have enough done that gives us a good taste of it not just a lil crappy bit that is done to make us happy

i would wait as long as it takes as long as its not 3046

Couldn\'t you just release the demo, and patch in new things as you see fit??

We could but there are still so many things needed to be testing and making modifications while you are playing could make the server unstable and possibly crash. Im still surprised Luca wants to release it so early, its not particularly in a state that we would be proud to show our fans. We still want to keep people interested in the game so we will of course release it as soon as possible. Also, we havent decided what (if we do make the first demo an online version) server it will be hosted on. So anyone of you guys who work for an isp or have lots of money, feel free to contact luca to arrange a deal. :)

I don\'t think you should work hard enough to kill yourself. Unknowing idiots could base their entire train of thought on this demo, but knowing true PSers know that this is only a tiny crumb of how the game will be(I think). There may be a lots of bugs, floating heads, and people that for some unknown reason fly, but we know that will happen because this is not even in beta!

I think no one(no one as in unkowing idiots) will HATE the game (unless its a REALLY knowing idiot), so do not be scared

If the game takes a few monthes we should be happy, atleest we know then they didnt rush through everythign and took there time to produce a great game, which by the way they didnt have to even attempt.

I don\'t mind when the demo comes out, I\'d just like to see screenshots of the actual client so we can start throwing suggestions and stuff.  By the way, I\'m new here and are there screen shots or are the pics I saw the actual client?

Not to sound rude or uncaring but since this game will be free and there will be a problem if to many players try to play at the same time (lag and such) wouldn\'t it be good to scare away those critizise everything not thinking it\'s good enough for a demo.
I think it would be nice to not having to bother with those people who only come to complain.
