Title: Climbing Walls
Post by: Chestar on November 27, 2004, 01:40:18 am
How am i supposed to climb walls? Ive been informed by someone that i am to run towards a wall and right before or upon contact with the wall i should jump. However, I have done this with every wall i can find and it doesnt seem to be working. Does anyone have a clue as to what I may be doing wrong? Please reaply, ty.

From my experience, you can only climb one side of a wall, the other side doesn\'t work.
Also, you need to make sure that there is nothing above you (like protruding edges from nearby buildings, possibly roofs). Otherwise your method should be OK, i.e. holding down \"forward\" and upon contact (or just before) with the wall hitting (and holding) \"jump\". At least this way I get accross walls and doors, albeit only from one side, not from the other.

I think the tall stone towers by the big wooden gate can be climbed and others too but i cant remember which ones.

Ok thx that makes sence. I have found climbing things with a slight angle good for scaling rocks and such, that nust be why i couldnt climb the walls. ty.
