If you wish to train a beast how do you think it should be done.
I think it should be a system of meat/skill. It takes different amounts of meat to train your animal to do different things. you should be able to either capture an animal or train it from sight. The possibility of a monster (of your level) not being trained first go (therefore attacking you) should be quite high maybe an 80% chance?
ps. if this thread has already been posted i apologise and could someone please direct me to the other thread

1) do you mean training or taming?
2) to feed does not mean to train

I think you should put him in the nearest beast public school, so when he will be able to read, just give him guides like \"how to fly\" and \"how not to bite everyone in the fifth point on contact\" etc.
Not really.
hehehe
oh... that\'s funny... uh...
Now, seriously. Exactly what skill do you teach an animal, when feeding? How to eat faster?
-
So sorry i meant taming
-
I meant to use them like treats

Yes, food can be used for training. More you give food to the beast, more it likes you. However, if it doesn\'t like you very much, there is a big chance, that the animal would break away.
Also I consider a possibility of a \"charm\" spell, probably in a green way, but who knows.
P.S. Edit your posts.

If all you do is feed it top of the line steak it\'ll get fat. Animal taiming would be nice, but then there will need to be a system built in so that every animal is unique with only certain general prefference for each animal. I don\'t expect a kran\'s Rock Bat to like Honey as much as say... A Tree Fish.
Taiming would be a nice aspect as long as it is properly implemented. Though the other problem might be getting rid of your pet?
