Here are a List of quality free mmorpgs that I have happened across along my online travels, since I AM THE FREE MMORPG GURU[/i], I share them with you! I hope everyone finds at least something they havent heard of or tried. Have fun! and i will continue to Update this list as i find more.

Conquer is STILL free? I was playing that almost a year ago and quit because they said the open beta was ending. I had a pretty good char there too... bah. Silly Koreans and their mind games.
Project Entropia isn\'t free. It\'s free to download and get in the game, but you need to pay real cash in order to buy any items or do anything.

Well that isn\'t 100 percent correct, if you don\'t want to spend real cash to trade in for their money. You have another way of getting the money, but it takes you like pffft long long long long BLOODIE long time to get the money. When I played some guy said it would take you literally weeks to even raise enough money to buy one gun and one clip which would last you not even 10 mins. So spending real money would be the easiest way still.

Yes, Project Entropia is free, i happened to run into a nice person who got me a tier 3 weapon and 5 clips.. its not the best game i have listed...
Yes i have tried all of those!, and my preference is Gunbound, and Rubies of Eventide, and Kal Online. But it all depends on the person. so i suggest you browse them all. there all pretty good
I HIGHLY recomend Kal Online. Just go to the website for a sec, Its 100% free.. no junky real cash economy, and its Extremely fun

I uninstalled Gunbound not to long ago because that game is constantly plagued with hackers trying to get the cool wearables for cheap. Too bad, it was fun when it was in its prime.
I\'ll have to try out some of the others you\'ve listed, although Entropia is a time waster.

Im ownloading Kal right now but i have a few questions. Is it in chineese or somthing? And will it always be free or is it because of the beta?

lol its korean and I\'m not very good at it i need money badly and only lvl 4 :( but it is fun(though i don\'t like all private shops in town clog my view)

I wasted time installing Kal only to find out it is just another \"Diablo\", basicly the only difference is you don\'t have to keep joining servers over and over. If you love hack n slash thats the one for you

I got addicted to that game for 5 months and my face was glued to the screen for 8 hours a day. My parents were worried about me at that point. I seem to get addicted to games very easily :)

I just started playing it. The games OK bu it could be better. No one every wants to talk ot me or group with me even if there the same lvl. The whole city is full of afk people with banners like \"--->###BLOWOUT SALE 1/2 PRICE OF STORE###<---\" that never go away so you end up with a sceen full of yellow letters and you need to adjust your view to see anything at all. The game has some good ideas though. After killing an enemy you can behead them. Also, there are colors above enemy names showing if they are too strong for you, weak, ect. Another bad thing is that theres almost no depth into the combat. You click the enemy, wait for it to die, behead it, rest, move to the next enemy. So its a pretty good game ruined by a horrable community. I think I\'ll play it till CB comes out just to occupy my time.

Ive been playing Conquer lately, and ive enjoyed it, but im starting to get bored of it theres not much you can do in it besides fighting. right now im downloading Kal, when ive played it for a while ill tell you what i think.

Gunbound was a lot of fun... I played it WAY too much last year :D Kinda got boring after a while... but nothing beats playing Gunbound with all your RL friends until 3-4am :)
That Kal game looks interesting.... I\'ll have to try it after exams :)

That came originally from SWG, although it used stars instead of the names. Ah, if only THAT game were free and not $15 bucks a month. :( I\'d play it more it weren\'t so expensive.

Redemption (http://www.redemption-online.com) is not bad. Its a free ragnarok server. It also has a second server with a very easy version of rag so you can acquire your second job level easily within a day. I prefer the harder server, however, mainly because of a smaller crowd. Heck, I am 1 of only 7 sages there! :P
I downloaded KAL and its kinda fun. I like it. A bit too hack-n-slashy, but it fits well into the game. I didn\'t stay in town much because of all the annoying player-stores, so I\'m all alone in the wilderness, where I usually end up in mmorpgs. :D

OMG!!!! And I though Furcadia (http://www.furcadia.com) looked girly! O.o I do kinda admire its lack of fighting, becoming a teacher instead of a swordsman idea, but sheesh, did they have to make it look like Barbie\'s Pony Dreamland??? Hello Kitty could kick that skank\'s butt anyday.

Its difficult to install. Follow this guideline (http://redemption-online.com//index.php?showtopic=23) and then download/install the latest patch. Then you will need to register an account on the webpage.
*Edit: I didn\'t need BitTorrent to download the client like they suggest on the guide.

The player-stores are really annoying, I was so annoyed that I set up my own shop selling ladies of questionable standards.
People were getting mad.

i posted it as an MMORPG site, as he had some posted in the first post, anyway it helped me alot... MMORPG.com gets alot of contests, for instance the upcoming christmas one... they also recieve many special trials of many games, even though at times stuff they post can be scary

does anybody know another place I can download conqueror? the main DL times out after 20 minutes, and doesnt work with my download manager. (also if you have any sugestions for a good download manager, that would be great too.)

Just a note about all free servers for MMORPGs such as Lineage II, Ragnarok Online, etc. These servers are freeshards and it is legal to own them.
HOWEVER
It is not legal to join these freeshard servers with any copy of the game, whether downloaded, purchased, whatever.
Play on freeshards if you don\'t care about legalities. I play on them myself. But if you\'re fussy/paranoid about things like that, do not get the mistaken impression that playing on a freeshard is legal, because it isn\'t.

There\'s quite a list of servers, however most of the older ones are down, and new ones that get set up disappear after a week or two... But you won\'t find any free server that doesn\'t disappear, anyway. :)

ahh, after much tedious patching, i played on their server.
it was fun for.. hmm 10 seconds.. lol i didnt really care for it. the gameplay was ok, but IMO the graphics werent that great, the movement was buggy, and i dunno,
i pay for wow and like it alot, if you have to pay for lineage 2, then i feel bad for the people who have it.

You can get DAoC without the Korean release or any of that nonsense. You can download it from gamespy, it\'s a trial, but you just log into the unofficial servers, as opposed to the official. Or if you live in Melbourne like me, go to a GamesRush and buy it for $5.
I don\'t think WoW is out here yet, I really want it.
Lineage 2 official site wouldn\'t have a download, as you are expected to pay for the stupid game.
Am I missing sometihng, or have Sony successfully stopped EQ freeshards? I would play that on a freeshard.
If you like to roleplay more than fight, there are some very, very good RP Ultima Online freeshards. Just download the game from somewhere, I suggest a torrent site.
I myself am busy playing Vice City, I love that game, and I want to finish it again, the guy who owned it recently died... and I want to return it to his brother before too long.
